Big Dick's — Local services in Fort Myers Beach

I own a home on FMB for over 25 years and frequently shop at Big Dick’s since they opened for gag gifts for friends and family. Over 4th of July weekend I purchased (amongst other things) a pair of shorts for my daughter. The following night she put them on and realized there was a hidden hole at the inner thigh seam. I brought the shorts back the next day with the receipt and asked if I could exchange them for a pair without a hole. The two ladies working the register didn’t look at the receipt or the shorts, but said it’s against the store policy and there are no exceptions. I debated a minute since they sold me a defective item, but they said it did not matter. Their prices are quite high and with that should come better customer service and a flexible policy for defective merchandise. I won’t be back....

We showed up at 8:55 p.m. (door says 9 p.m. close, Google says 10) after walking in the rain to support them post-storm. The store was already locked, and the lady was unbelievably rude when we asked about the hours.

They’re big on asking for community support—but only on their terms. Shipwreck across the way welcomed us warmly even at closing, so we spent our money...

This was such a fun place when I got home everyone wanted my shirt and lived other things I bought there I was disappointed they didn’t have a website to order from or they could of sold at least 10 sweatshirts lol just from my Eucher league alone I will be back next...
