Ok let me start by saying Franny is AMAZING!!! I was going to Fantastic Sams for like 15 yrs at the location in Arlington, Tx. They ended up closing so I went to one of the ladies that use to work there for some money pieces. I had the same person for my highlights (shown marked in black circles) about a year ago. Anyways, I needed my hair redone with highlights before my trip to the Bahamas. I didn’t want to go back to the original lady and the good lord guided me to Franny after reading some reviews and SO glad I did! She greeted me with love and compassion from the moment I walked in. She asked me many questions on what I wanted, gave me her honest opinion of the results and why, and was there listening to my every need and want. An experience I have NEVER had in my entire life! As you can see with the pics showing the little bit of orange or discoloration (from the original lady) Franny went all in! She did her thing! Honestly, I wanted a blonder look, but oh boy did she prove me wrong and show me a more natural, blended, soft, and toned highlights. She is about perfection. She is about her clients. I was scheduled to get a perm with an appointment at 230pm. On my way to the appointment prior to the salon appointment they sent a text as I was driving to my prior appointment asking me to come in early. Once I got the message I immediately contacted the phone number requesting income earlier. I could not make it when they wanted me to but was willing to drop all other appointments to get there an hour earlier. Was told to come on in. I arrived at the salon an hour prior to my scheduled appointment. Once at the salon I was asked to reschedule the appointment because there is only one stylist that does cuts and one stylist than can do perms and she was leaving within the hour to pick up her kids. I then find out that I was speaking to an answering service in another state and they have no clue what is going on in this salon. After watching the two stylist working it was probably a blessing in disguise. I will not return to this salon and I recommend you find another as well. Took my son in there today to get his haircut, the lady not only didn't cut his hair like they way I asked her to cut it, she then proceeded to butcher it... had this happen before at this location and it's my fault for going back. I'm sure they do womens styles fine, but as far as a fade for a 10 year old, the lady had no clue. So frustrated with the experience. (Update) the manager or who ever called me today and proceeded to ask me why I would write this review after he offered to pay for me to go somewhere else. Im not writing a review about them paying for the abilities of another hair stylist and another establishment, I'm writing this based on the abilities or lack there of his employees.
