Last month I came back to my old hometown of Gettysburg from California to see old friends and celebrate my birthday. Well, I found my perfect birthday memento here, when I happened upon Body and Soul. As I wandered around, looking at the beautiful and distinctive jewelry designed by the owner, she described how she went from creating large sculptures to these lovely miniatures. Marcia is talented, warm, and charming and creates one of a kind pieces. I left with a "moon" necklace that was a silver pendant consisting of a circle embedded with several small jewels and ending in a large mystic topaz dangling beneath. I called here looking for a place to get a necklace fixed. Marcia was so pleasant on the phone. I told them when I would be traveling to the area and that I would stop by. When I called today, her husband answered and he was also very friendly! When I showed up, she was busy and I told her that I would drop off and come back another day. Absolutely wonderful service! We walked in while just passing through and I fell in love with a unique silver chain sitting in one of the cases. We struck up conversation with the jeweler and I asked if she could work my beads into the chain. She was so sweet and helpful. She took time to work my beads into their chain and made sure everything was safe and secure. You won't find better service and their pieces are absolutely beautiful and unique.
