I was really excited for this and super disappointed with the service I received. I asked for a super simple marble design on gel-x nails. I was charged $80 for the set and then an additional $60 for the design which was very simple. Trina added glitter where I didn't ask and failed to tell me what she was charging until the manicure was over. I didn't think to ask because I would never have imagine that such an easy and plain design would cost $140 before tip which she claimed was actually a discounted price. For that price, I expect absolute perfection and complexity and full service. There was also no manicure included at that price range, it was just the set of nails and that's it. The work is fine, but generally pretty mediocre and even amateur, especially if you're charging that much for it. When I brought up my concerns about the price she just said designs are expensive and if I don't want to pay so much I shouldn't get a design. She also drilled heavily into my cuticles and cut them up which left many of them bleeding and swollen and a day later it still burns to wash my hands because they are torn up so badly. I tried calling to address my concerns and she rudely hung up on me and blocked my number. She said it was impossible that she cut me despite my having photos of it. I have been getting my nails done for YEARS and never have received such poor service for such an exorbitant price. I get things are expensive these days but this was absolutely obscene and I am pretty devastated, especially because this was supposed to be a self-care treat for my birthday. I am in pain and mortified to have been treated like that with no effort on her end to make it right. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

Trina is a very nice woman. She made sure I was comfortable and let me use her massage chairs, offered me a beverage, and pick a movie when I arrived to my appointment early. However, I was not impressed with my nails. She didn’t tell me the prices beforehand, and suggested I do gel extensions instead of acrylic dip. It was nice of her to warn me the uncleanliness of the dip powder, but she didn’t tell me that gel extensions are usually used on people who want longer nails, so looking at it now, it felt like I was coaxed into spending more money. I will admit that is my fault, but I am not very experienced with manicures so that information would’ve been nice to know beforehand. During my manicure, I asked if she could style my nails a certain way and she happily agreed, but didn’t let me know that it was going to be $20 extra on top of the gel extensions for nail art. On top of that, she didn’t really follow the design I wanted and did more of what she liked. Now, it has been eight days since I got my nails done, and they are already chipping, which is very upsetting since I spent $95 for this service. If you are going to go to this location, I suggest asking for prices beforehand and sticking to just one color for your nails. Below is a picture of my nails now for reference.

I saw so many 5 star reviews and mistakenly didn’t check thoroughly enough for the poor reviews left for this place before booking my appointment. Trina is a kind woman and keeps the salon clean BUT, $90 for a short, gel x french mani that I’m not satisfied with blows my mind. She has no prices (online or in salon) so don’t be surprised if you’re charged outrageous prices too. I saw another woman post about Trina making unsolicited comments about her body acne, making the woman uncomfortable as it would anyone, and a similar experience happened with me. I naturally have clammy hands which I know can be unappealing to most but she mentioned it at least 10 times, making me even more uncomfortable, thus keeping my hands moist. She would constantly take breaks, texting and making calls on her cellphone which I found be to unprofessional. I’m not saying don’t come here, but if you do, bring your pocket book and expect a few unsolicited rude remarks to make you uncomfortable, at least. I’m adding a picture of what I got— not to say it’s terrible, but it’s not what I asked for (the French tip I wanted was more defined and she told me that didn’t look natural, so did it her way instead). To me, not worth $90 and the 2 hours it took to complete. I will not be back.

Disappointed with my experience at this salon. I was looking forward to trying someplace new and wanted to support a local small business, but after the uncomfortable interaction I had with the owner I don’t plan on returning. I went back and forth on whether or not to write a review because I want to think her intentions were pure, but at the same time I was so taken back by how hurtful she was to me right out the gate that I think other consumers should know what to expect.

I had a nail appointment scheduled and when I walked in the owner asked me to wash my hands told me that after she would examine my nail beds and recommend a service. My back was to her while washing my hands and when I turned around to have her look at my nails she did a quick examination and offered her suggestions for services (which I thought was great)! Keep in mind, I was scheduled for a NAIL appointment and that’s it. She no more than gave her quick recommendations on my nails before saying something along the lines of ā€œYou have a lot of acne have you ever used CeraVe face wash? I can tell you have a lot of bacteria on your faceā€.

This obviously made me very uncomfortable because this is my #1 insecurity and nothing in the fine print outlined that her nail appointments came with a side of having your flaws pointed out. I want to believe that as a businesswoman she was just trying to upsell to me and inform me that she offers facial services too, but is that really the way to do it? I told her that I’ve been going to an acne clinic for the last several months and that I am working with my esthetician to get things figured out (on top of already being on prescribed topical medications for it). She then proceeded to bring up my acne throughout my appointment despite me being obviously uncomfortable. She even claimed that she ā€œcured her son’s acneā€ and insisted on showing me by pulling out her phone during my appointment and showing me several pictures.

There were also multiple other comments she made during my visit that made for an overall awful experience, but commenting on my skin when I didn’t ask for an opinion was by far the worst. Thank you, but no thank you. I will not support this business.

Also my nails lifted and fell off within 10 days when she claimed ā€œthey should last a month because of how quality my work isā€ but that’s besides the point.

Last thing I’ll say — just take a look at how she responds to the negative reviews she receives here on Google. To me it doesn’t seem like she takes accountability for her performance or her unprofessionalism, and the empathy she lacks for others really shows. But you decide...

I went to Trina about 2 1/2 weeks ago with my sister and my daughter to treat ourselves since we never get our nails done very often. I didnt take pictures because had I known the nails were going to start chipping 3 days after I got them, I would have posted them as well. I got a short pink glitter set and my sister got a longer silver glitter set and my daughter got plain nail polish. She didn't mention any prices when we first got there and when we were finished, we were honestly happy with the way they looked because they did look very nice. Its just the product she used was a clear gel and not powder and she hyped it up like it was going to last so much longer than powder and at the end, after we got our nails done, it all in total came out to $170 not including a tip.... ive never gotten my nails done except for like 1 or 2 times before so I was just trying to keep her happy and keep my sister and daughter happy so I paid for it and gave a decent tip. 3 days goes by and im swimming with my daughter in my M.I.L's pool and my nail chips off literally into the pool. I text Trina and told her what happened and she said come in and she could fix it for free the next day(the 3 nails that came off). Well, during the rest of that night a few more had easily come off during cooking and doing other household stuff. The next day, I forgot about my appt she had set up with me and she was only aware of the 3 nails that came off but that next day, by 3 pm, I was only 30 mins late when she text me and said id have to pay for the fix since i was late... I was already planning on just not going back in general at that point because why would I want to spend more money on nails that just fell off within 3 days for the same type of product to fall off in 3 days again anyways.? Again, Trina is very nice and even let my daughter ride a bike that she had in the back of her shop and let us watch a movie while she did our nails, but this review is supposed be about the nails. I personally think the price is a bit extreme to just...

BE AWARE!!! I will NEVER go to this shop again!! This woman charged me $175 for a soak off and new gel set with design!!! No prices listed online or in salon. You could say it's my fault for not asking the price before services but I have had my nails done for YEARS and never expected to be hit with a $175 charge to get my nails done and I have had some elaborate nail art done never costing this much. The nail art she did is cute, but very basic, considering the cost (see the picture to confirm) AND I only asked for a design on one nail on each hand, not all of them, but she proceeded to do all of my nails without discussing how much it would be if she did the design on all nails.

I arrived at 8pm per her request when I called, I sat there for 2 hours while she took not just one, but 2 additional clients saying it takes a long time to soak off, which yes, it does but not 2 hours!! My fingertips started buring bad because she left the acetone on so long without even coming to check to see the progress, not one time. Leaving acetone on for that amount of time can cause your nails to become brittle/crack, dry skin and nail discoloration.

I did not leave the shop until 12am. I was there for 4 hours!!! There was a client finishing up when I got there and I was the next person in the chair within 10 mins so how in the world would I be there for 4 hours?! I will NEVER come back to this shop again!! Not to mention, she started talking about how my eyebrows are too thick and how they need to be thinner- who are you to talk about what I like when your eyebrows are super thin!!

All of this just shows me that when you receive a service by her she is going to talk about you, do what she likes versus what you requested, charge you excessively, and not show genuine care for the clients wellbeing and time.

Once again, BE AWARE and schedule/enter at...
