I always come to this Staples to make copies and projects for my two businesses. Today I need a thicker paper for my project so I asked the girl at the copy station if she could help me since the copy machines do not have that type of paper. She talk to me with her mask on from about 2 meters distance and I could not hear clear hear what she said, so I asked again and this time she replied to me very rude spelling the word CODE. At this point I understood that she was referring if I had a CODE to print my job. I said yes I do and could bor hear you well because your mask was hard to understand you. She immediately replied No No No, like staying that I was wrong. I continue the conversation and asked for the paper types and she showed me the book and when I asked about the thicker paper she point out saying is there and still shows a very rude response to a confined. Finally, the printed the job and before I left she said this was an exception because we donāt make any jobs right away does not matter how small they are. Really? So printing one single paper is consider a job just because you need a thicker paper ? Or, it was because I am hispanic and now that I read the previous review about what happened with the previous costumers Staples costumer services is based on race? Well, used to do tons of business here but I wonāt give anymore business to a place costumer service is 1 star. I respect that she wants to wear mask and gloves but if she notice lock of communications with the customers she can do a better job and remove her mask for a second. Whatever business you are in, if customers walked into your business you need to make them feel welcome. Furthermore, Staples should hire bilingual speakers to better help the customers and capture some of this market. if the manger is reading is this review, think how many sales are you letting out of your door because your bad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRarely leave reviews but had to give a HUGE thank you to two gentlemen who were working at the tech counter on the afternoon of 12/10/20. I was in a scramble as I was preparing for a very important slideshow (for my sister's already once postponed rehearsal dinner to be exact). I was down to the wire and finished the presentation only to find the computer onsite was not chrome cast enabled, nor would dropbox/GoogleDrive import it to share as it was such a huge file needing HOURS to upload. Long story short, these guys answered the phone as I rushed over in my vehicle, had the special Mac to Windows memory stick ready for me that I needed, made sure the file had transferred from my laptop onto the memory stick, AND added a program that I would never have known I needed onto the drive to make sure I could play the file on an older laptop back at the dinner. All in all THANK YOU! I was frantic and almost in tears wanting my sister and bro in-law's evening to be special despite all of the changes and postponements they had been through/the continued COVID precautions we observed, and Staples gentlemen you were the MVPs and went...

As a long-time resident here in downtown Greenville, I want to say that this Staples has THE Best staff anywhere and I still want to support them, but this whole situation with the Happy Returns and Amazon returns has become a real problem. A serious problem! It has turned into a shipping center, not exaggerating.
The staff here are absolute gems; they are friendly, patient, and clearly trying their best. But bless their hearts, they are completely swamped. It's reached the point where they are so busy processing mountains of returns that getting basic customer service for a paying retail purchase feels like a major inconvenience. I've waited an unreasonable amount of time just to buy a box of envelopes while watching an associate manage a cart full of returns by themselves.
Bottom line for my fellow Greenvillians: If you need to stop in for supplies, plan for a wait, because of the returns counter. The employees are great people, but corporate needs to give them more help. Until then, it's tough to get the service they're capable...
