ALDI — Local services in Hanford

If you see something on their ad that is a great buy, don't rush down there because it probably didn't come in. This is what I have been told 3 different times when I was there the minute it opened, usually for meat. They don't let you know until they get you in the store. A couple of times, they stated that they only received one box, and it's gone. Most products cost as much or more than walmart. The produce, in my opinion, is not as fresh as smart and final or other stores. They rush you through checkout, throwing your groceries back in the cart where you are to grab your paper bags and bag them yourself at the counter by the wall. The staff and the checkers are not friendly or helpful at all. I only go there for one item that I like, or I would not stop there at all. Good idea about the quarter for a cart. Prices of things can be good but let me just say that when EVERY crate of eggs is cracked, that’s annoying and frustrating. Frequently out of basic items like parsley and parmesan is a major stocking issue. I’m not sure why they even have a stocking issue, considering there are NO employees in the register area or walking around the store to help find items. Final nail in coffin was the HILARIOUS cashier whose name is Juan, sitting on his a$$ and had the audacity to tell me the amount of bags that I wanted (which was the PERFECT amount mind you, I used to be a cashier) was too much and told us no. I had an agreement with one of the managers Jose Quintero at this store and multiple other stores to provide security through my company. My employee arrived as agreed to the store at 10 PM and stayed until 6 in the morning. This man is insisting that no one ever showed up even though my guard has proof he was there. A warning to all future contractors thinking of doing business with this company or its management DON't DO IT! They will act like your services were not performed just so they won't have to pay you!
