I will never again give them my business! I, being in customer service for over 30 years am disappointed in how management treated me today. There was no effort or attempt in helping me find a resolution. I was next in line to make my purchase. I asked if I could see the suitcase opened to ensure the inside was suitable. The cashier removed the sensor opened the suite case and moved me aside and said "next customer please!" I was in awh! She didn't ask or explain herself. She took 2 customers and left me standing there with my mouth opened. Aa she called the 3rd customer I asked if could finish my purchase. She replies with a "I gotch'u" and scans a receipt like she does this alot. Maybe as a regular customer I would have known the protocol. As she completed my transaction, I tried to close the suitcase and the zipper got cought. I asked if there was another and she said "go look!" So, I did! I could not find another but there was a similar one for about $25 less. I was not familiar with the no cash back policy. I asked if she could void the transaction and ring me up again. With an attitude another cashier said "we don't so that! You have to get store credit!" I would think they would have apologized or showed some sympathy or even call another store to see if they had the same suitcase. They did not care! I advised I was going to call the bank to file a claim. As I was on the phone trying to find a resolution other than a store credit because I was not a fault, I noticed the cashiers getting in a circle around a tall man. He began to walk away. I asked for a manager and it was him Don the manager who knew his store had a customer with a problem and instead of addressing it he was running away! The cashier yelled out across the store "Don! This customer wants to talk to you!" He approached me like he had no idea what was going on. I explained the situation and said "sorry, we dont to that!" and walked away. I finished my claim with my bank and left the store. I will also be reaching out to corporate a Ross Corporation and to the company that makes the suite case. I work to hard for my money to give it away and I will think twice before shopping a a Ross...

I cant really give this store any star or i guess liking because coworkers in this place specifically so far dont know how to act professional. Instead of making paying customers feel welcomed all they did today was make customers uncomfortable while shopping.. at first i thought , i was being looked at in some way but i tried letting that thought go . Unfortunately they made it more obvious to stare and follow me and friend around the store making me very upset in the fact i wasnt able to shop comfortably because they were just judging by sight and not really giving the chance to actually see that we were and we did pay items ! I think its a place where coworkers unfortunately need some type of training on how to treat customers... I understand we wear masks but thats what it is , i was wearing a hat so if that is what made them uncomfortable in the way of how i look and judging i suppose to “steal” i think they should of spoke up and maby told me to take of the hat if it was going to become some type of issue .. I work hard for what i get and i have no necessity to be stealing. If coworkers just going to follow you and stare and make it obvious in the way they are following you .. feels uncomfortable and very upsetting to be seeing people that suppose to be “ good “ at their job are not really doing good .. speaks alot about management and i think if their is no way of change in trying to let people feel more comfortable then im sorry to hear that your store is no longer my choice of shopping just because me and my friend were judged unfairly and it wasnt a place i wanted to be in the first place .. we could of walked out and left the items , but we decided to buy them to show them you just judged wrongfully and thanks to the coworkers making management and the store look bad ... i hope their is a change its for the best for when dealing with people...
Read moreWhen visiting the store, I needed to use the facilities as I had been shopping for over an hour, when I asked to use the restroom I was told that there were no public restrooms and the woman behind me said I can't believe what I am witnessing. You just let three Latinos in with no questions asked. Now when she asked you say you don't have a public restroom. I am a african american woman. So when I was told that it was very hurtful and traumatic. So needless to say I am very hurt and angry. I did e-mail corporate and the store manager was able to convince me to come back to the store so that "They could make things right" so I decided to do my Christmas shopping and at check out I was told the best he could do was take 20% off. Which made me even angrier. So your employee blatantly discriminates against a customer and humiliates them and best you can do is offer 20% off. Really, so I will not be shopping there or any dd's since I now see courteous and equal treatment of customers is not a priority or requirement especially of blacks.
