I came in with my friends to try to find a gift for someone who was not able to come to the Apple festival. I took out my phone to snap a quick pic so I could send it to that person to see if they wanted that one or another one beside it. It was a simple car coaster… The lady at the counter, who I assume was the owner, Abruptly told me that there were no pictures allowed to be taken in any store on Main Street. I simply said “that’s silly” and she then proceeds to loudly scold me in front of all the other patrons. Speaking about being a small business owner and suffering through hurricane helene and covid. Wow… she knows nothing about me or my personal experience. So distasteful to use disasters and pandemics as an excuse to be so...

My husband and I are locals and visited during the apple festival. Not sure if the owner was having a bad day or what but she was so unbelievably rude for no reason. We walked around the store for less than 5 minutes when she came up unprovoked making comments about how we had our phones out instead of browsing (clearly not too familiar with multitasking) with such a snooty tone. IMMEDIATELY ruined a nice time looking around and we left. Store wasn’t too busy, we weren’t loud and kept to ourselves - not sure why she felt the need to be so mean. Read moreAbove and beyond customer service. I had bought several goat milk soaps there when I was on vacation in June. I had asked how I could order soaps in the future and Autumn gave me a business card with the phone number to call. I called recently to order more soaps as they really allow your skin to retain its natural moisture and don't contain the harsh ingredients found in regular soaps. Even though she was dealing with several non-business issues at the time, she still made me feel like a valued customer. She even put bubble wrap between the layers of soaps in the box. I will definitely be ordering more soaps...
