AVOID THIS PLACE!! We have been to several of these claw locations in the mainland. The set up (claw machines, quality of plushies, redemption process etc) is exactly the same. The only thing different is the store name. It’s disappointing how the owner has of Claw Kingdom programmed their machines. Grabbing the plushies is not a challenge but the claw is programmed to shaky vigorously so the plushie immediately drops where it started. After approx 20-30 attempts the claw will NOT shake so that’s when the plushie glides to the exit..(winner!!). But by this time you have spent so many tokens (2 per play) it’s definitely not worth the stress. At the mainland locations the attendants would actually open up the glass doors and loosen the plushies for the customers but Claw Kingdom’s employees didn’t do this. We were there for almost a hour.
At the mainland locations we would walk out with 20+ plushies for half of the cost (approx $40-50). We paid $100 and walked out with 8 plushies. I noticed the other customers were just as frustrated as us. I felt really bad for the parents with young children.
At the end it felt as if we were scammed out...
Read moreLike many others have said, this was hands down one of the worst claw machine experiences we've ever had. We've been to arcades all over - Bay Area, LA, Colorado - and consistently win at least 5 prizes. But here? Not a single one. Not even close. The whole setup feels incredibly shady. When I brought it up to the staff, the woman just shrugged and said, "That's how the machines are." Yeah -- because you made them that way. Totally rigged and unfair. Don't waste your money, time, or energy here. My kids left disappointed and heartbroken, and the staff couldn't have cared less. No wonder the place is empty on a Friday night. Skip the scam and just order a plushie from Temu - it's the same stuff anyway, and you won't walk away feeling ripped off. And to the Claw Kingdom owner -- don't bother with a fake, copy-paste reply. I've seen your responses to other reviews, and they're full of excuses and straight-up lies. These machines are...
Read moreTotal SCAM!! We went there with 6 kids, after grabbing many plushies that the claw simply opened up again in mid air only to let it drop, we talked to the attendant and all she said was “sorry”. We even showed her this video and she let us choose a “consolation” prize, because we were very disappointed. Another customer ended up giving us a plushie because she felt so bad for us. The machines do grab the plushies (sometimes just like in other claw machines locations) but this place is the first one that I have ever seen in my life (and I’m in my 40’s!!) drop the plushies like this. Not only by shaking it but by opening after you already grabbed it. The video attached is an example of what happened multiple times. Do not give them your money. It was a terrible way to end the evening.
Edit to add: I should have read the reviews first. The one by Seojin describes...
