Two fields on the canal. The fields are open but there are no batting cages, the bases and l screens are locked in the dugouts. Bathrooms could use an update. Went during the week and there was no one using the field. Nice banyan tree providing some shade.

Park needs to be completely taken down and rebuilt. Boarded off slide and no swings on the swing set.

I live about a block from the place. I go there to relax after work a few times per week. Lots of benches and the sea wall to chill out on. Peacefully even though it's accessed through busy areas. I walk along the wall checking out the Ala Wai for interesting stuff. I've seen Eagle rays hunting, small hammer heads, huge crabs and big blowfish to name a few. I also use my fishing magnet to pull stuff out. Best find so far is a complete Huskey...

Place was closed for a bit and now it's open with no changes to the courts or field. Why? During this pandemic, parks have been a perfect outlet for kids and adults...yet they closed 2 parks in close proximity. And nothing was done to either park. What a waste of time and tax payer money. Something to expect from Hawaii...
