We parked here and paid for our parking through THEIR app by scanning the QR code you must use in order to pay. I extended our time of hours paid through the app AND my ticket is currently still active and paid for right now. However, Our car which is a rental was towed out of the lot sometime today. We came back to discover it missing- Initially thought it was stolen considering we followed the rules of the lot and it was paid for. We don’t know why it was towed- the towing company gave very little information and the person answering the phone barely spoke English- towing is open 24 hours a day and we have to pay cash only in order to get it back. We are still nearby and are watching cars be towed as we speak. Total scam and tourist trap! Waikiki beach is extremely dirty and disgusting anyways so it makes sense that this shady business...

Good cheap rate at $1 per hour. Well lit and relatively safe at night. But... the machine says it takes cash or credit card. I tried to pay for overnight parking by credit card, but it wouldn't work. (I note that another reviewer found the same problem months ago). So I tried to pay by what little cash I had. The machine took my first couple of notes, but it wouldn't accept any of my remaining notes. Maybe they were too old or folded. I don't know. Then the machine timed out. Why would you park anywhere else?

When you are staying in hotels near this side of Waikiki, you have to park here. You pay anywhere from $40-$60 per day to self park or valet park at your hotel. If you want to save some money, park at the harbor parking for $1 per hour and save money. You can park overnight and the limit is 24 consecutive hours. The area also has adequate lighting to make it feel safe. I haven't seen the parking lot full yet so you shouldn't have to worry about finding parking.
