Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Victoria's Secret

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent visit to Victoria's Secret on Black Friday. As a long-time resident of Hawaii, I have frequented this store for seasonal sales, but my experience today was nothing short of horrifying.

While shopping for a pair of yoga pants I had been eagerly anticipating, I noticed a security guard who seemed to single me out in a manner that felt extremely uncomfortable. A friend of mine even witnessed the guard pointing at me as if I were stealing something. This incident escalated to the point where the guard approached me, looking aggressive and confrontational.

When I asked her if there was a reason she was only bothering me, her response was delivered in an extremely rude tone. It was evident that she did not approach any other customers in the same manner. This behavior made me feel racially profiled and unwelcome in a store I have always enjoyed visiting.

Not only did this incident ruin my shopping experience, but it also caused me to miss out on purchasing something I truly wanted. I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their appearance. Came in with my bestfriend while on vacation to look for a few new things for her. I asked my friend her bra size so I could scope out the other side of the store. As I am sifting through the bin an employee comes over and asks if she can re-fit me- I promptly reply “no thanks” she then says “are you sure?” To which I replied “yeah girl I’m good” and lastly she reply’s with “I feel like you could go up a bra size”. Good thing I had enough poise and restraint to walk out of the store. For context: I am a 34DDD- I know my bust is bigger than VS employees are used to seeing. I was also wearing a bikini top and cover up which I was in no way spilling out of. I’m not a fan on the VS brand for very obvious reasons but the least VS can do is train their employees on appropriate commentary when attempting to make sales. Lucky to get 1 star after our experience!

Went in with girlfriend on Black Friday and were prepared to spend big. The staff measured up my girlfriend and took her into the change rooms while I waited on a couch outside. I fell asleep on that couch after 45 minutes when they had completely offloaded and dumped my girlfriend in the changeroom after they had told her they would return to attend to her. Even after I woke up and asked the staff member to go in and get her, they simply told me that she'd still be a while, even though customer after customer came in and out of those rooms. My girlfriend eventually came out in tears. When I asked why this had been allowed to happen, the girl simply smiled at me batting her eyelids and said "Sorry sir!" SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH and 100% the worst experience we had in the whole trip. I would've thought the tourist dollar would've meant something to these stores.... CLEARLY NOT!
