I went to your Alo store in Houston, Texas, inside the Galleria Mall on 7/1/ 2025. I had two dresses I wanted to try on, and I had a question to ask about an item. I walked to the fitting room, it was 7:25 pm. and the lady in the fitting room let me know that the fitting room was closed, I then tried to follow up with the question I had about an item, but she told me the fitting room was closed she dismissed me and as she turned to talk to an employee or a customer, who was in the fitting room. She was having a full-on conversation with the person as I was just standing there. I had to call to tell her excuse me I have a question, and then she came over with a face of annoyance. I asked her about the item and then I wanted to see what time the fitting room closed since the store didn't close till 8 pm. She replied and let me know it was 7:30 when they close the fitting room. I was surprised to find out that they close 30 minutes before the store closes but also that that I arrived before 7:30 and the fittings room were already blocked off and how rude the lady that worked at the fitting room treated me. The staff were rude, dismissive, and made zero effort to assist me with anything I needed. I was completely ignored at times, and when I did ask for help, I was met with blank stares, attitude, or outright indifference. On top of that, I was stereotyped and made to feel uncomfortable, as some employees assumed I spoke Spanish based purely on how I looked, which was insulting and ignorant. When I asked an employee for help, she responded by saying, âThis store is so big that I donât know where they are, but they should be in the back,â and didnât offer to walk me to the section or provide any further assistance.
