Good evening, I have attended the church for what would be for a year now. Truthfully the ceremony is unusual no consistency and the sermon is split between 3 people what I will miss the most of attending the church will be the gospel singing is about the only beautiful praise. I went to the 11pm service, the reason I will no longer go - for 1 - I truly didn’t felt welcomed but I still decided to attend because the praise singing was fun. 2- doesn't help the community members within the community when in need despise the donations I have gifted. 3- in the verge of homelessness the front desk clerk gave me hope for help and gave me the opportunity to share my story to possibly get help then I got confirmed for partial help after I got asked for all my documentation’s only to get a final respond of denial. Seems like they just wanted to steal my information and lie to me. What a church to give false hope to a faithful believer. I’m truly disappointed the one time I asked my church for help and expressed myself in the community I got denied. Avoid if you want a sense of community but if you enjoy gospel that’s the only...
Read moreI just moved to Houston and visited The Source--the contemporary service at 11:11. I met a lot of young adults and instantly felt welcomed. They have small groups after church and during the week. I loved how many opportunities there were to get plugged in. Most of all, I loved the people. Really kind and loving young adults who helped me find my home in Houston. Like any church, it takes time to develop friendships, but if you keep coming back, you'll find some wonderful people.
