CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Jersey City

I'm very disappointed with this pharmacy. As someone with a high-risk pregnancy, having constant delays with my prescriptions is incredibly stressful and dangerous. I had to go through the hassle of getting a prior authorization through my insurance, and even then, I had to call on a 3-way with my insurance company just to get basic items covered.

Almost every month, I run into issues—whether it’s a delay, miscommunication, or being told different things by different staff members. It's never a smooth process, and I've had to go up to a week without prescriptions, all because of simple overrides that should’ve been handled efficiently. I’ve paid for prescriptions out of pocket before just to avoid the hassle but I cannot afford that every month.

There’s a serious lack of consistency and care, and it's exhausting. This pharmacy needs to do better, especially when patients' health...

I have been going to this pharmacy for 5 years, the last year has been awful. The prescriptions are never ready no matter when you call them, the kids they hire to manage the front end are rude and unprofessional and actually are enthusiastic about having customers transfer their prescriptions to other pharmacies. My family will no longer use this pharmacy, there are much more pleasant local pharmacies with much better customer service that would actually appreciate the business. Target is too big and corporate to care about losing customers. the kid at the counter actually gave me their business card today (trying to be a smart ass) to give to the "other" pharmacy to transfer my prescription. Because I had a question related to the auto refill, I called the pharmacy. The person who answered my phone wouldn't help me and recommended I contact CVS（？？You are the CVS pharmacy right？）. I asked her the phone number that I was supposed to reach, but she said I would have to find it myself. The attitude was rude and unhelpful. I explained that I do not want them to prepare the pills that I cannot pick up, then she pretended to ask for my dob and name and quickly hung up. It was a bad experience.
