Mint Market — Local services in Jersey City

(IMO) Not a great selection of stuff. Pretty over priced even for the area. Customer Service is rude and one of the managers is lowkey condescending. Two stars is generous. Sorry “Babes”

Updating my review - Your response was as tacky as your selection. Btw We always brought “good vibez” but as people can tell by your response, your store and employees brings bad vibez and snark. Nothing derogatory about my review babes just honest. Hope you have the day you deserve love.

Don’t be flattered. Out of all the shopping we did around Christmas your store was so bad I gave it a review. Your assumptions and nasty response lowered your review. I didn’t do anything to create a negative environment or make anyone uncomfortable. I don’t understand the dig at Zara or Newport Mall. Please check yourself because Mint Market really isn’t better than anything at the mall or in the JC/Hoboken area.

So I’ll be clear with my experience:

In my opinion, you don’t have a great selection and it’s overpriced. Your management and workers are condescending and rude. I’m not interested in going back and forth. I’ll allow you to have the last word if you want. Hopefully people see how nasty management is from your review....

This vintage shop was my first stop when i wanted to check out the vintage items in the neighborhood and was one of my favorites.

It's a charming shop with both true vintage pieces and a bunch of newer labels with vintage -styled clothes. They also have some handbags and other accessories, like jewelry. Clothes are mostly 70s-90s era, with a few 50s-60s pieces. Everything was in good condition, clean and ready to wear.

What makes this place special from the other vintage stores in the area is that they have a clearance rack. I saw a lot listed at $10, and there were some real gems in the rack for only a bit more.

I was in and out in about 30 min because i only searched through the vintage items, but I came away with a cute 90s sweater and true vintage 60s coat with the cutest black velvet accents for only about $40.

I’ve been here many times and I love all their selection of clothes, but today I had to set the time aside and write this review because Veronica truly went above and beyond. You can tell she really cares about her customers and will go the extra mile to make sure the person gets exactly what they’re looking for.

I was looking for a last minute outfit for dinner and she provided great choices and was super attentive. There were a pair of Chelsea boots that I really liked and they didn’t have my size so she contacted the Hoboken location right away and they dropped it off within 20 minutes at the Jersey City location.
