Free People — Local services in Kansas City

My absolute favorite clothing! I order online, and if i need to return something, I go to the Free People store at The Plaza. Everyone is nice, happy, helpful, and sweet as ever!!! I don't shop much at the store because I find 'my style': tops, tanks, jeans, bralettes, etc. online. FP runs big mostly!!! However, some shirts are fitted - run small or tight, so you have to size way up. You can tell, online, if it's a fitted top. I know how to buy their sizing in almost everything. If you have a question you can ask me, I'll help! I should own me a store.. 😝The store has some beautiful items so please go look. I haven't come across anyone who doesn't LOVE their items!!! It's a big obsession once you start!!! (Everyone who buys FP Clothing buys 2-20 of the same top in every color they want!🤣) I, too, am guilty- i actually may be worse!!! I do the exact same thing. It's all so comfortable, pretty, and feels great on your body! Once you find your piece(s) or outfit(s) you're hooked! Go Try It!! The store is set up nice and cozy. Easy shopping, no stress vibes, and you can look without being overwhelmed by clutter....

Rude, rude, rude. The 2 girls that were working when we walked in (6/15 @2:30 pm ish) stood behind the counter gossiping and did not approach or speak to my husband nor I once. After I was holding 10 items one finally asked me if I wanted a dressing room. When my husband asked for a size the response he got was, "I guess I can do that" Bc of this we got online in the dressingroom and ordered the items I liked from Bloomingdale's. The only reason I'm giving two stars is: we did buy one tank that I couldn't find online. A new employee; short tan women was working w glasses help us. She was sweet and friendly. Small but adorable store. I’ve shopped here for several years but cut way back, presently completely because of the poor quality. The staff are really sweet and helpful. I have purchased a lot of Free People merchandise, but I’ve had some items like dresses and tops end up with really bad pilling, socks pull apart, sweaters literally falling apart and jewelry also falling apart completely, and for the price this should not be happening.
