We had lunch at the Plaza today and afterwards decided to try this place out instead of getting dessert at the restaurant…. The ice cream was good, however the girl that was working there this afternoon was so so incredibly rude to us. Rolled her eyes, we asked questions and she gave us very rude short responses… my husband had a chunk of plastic in his shake and I told her about it and she glared at me and said ok, and threw it away…. Not a hey I’m so sorry, would you like a new one, or here’s a coupon for next time. She truly could’ve cared less… our daughters (14 and 16) were doing a little dance and she glared at them pretty intensely. I took my shake and left while they waited because of how rude she was and truly needed to fix her face… a smile goes a long way as well as saying you’re welcome when someone thanks you. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 25 years and her attitude and rudeness is not something that I can keep my mouth shut about. We will never be back because of our interaction with her. Might want to get rid of this employee. I am happy to provide my information if the manager or owner would like to reach out.also over by where the little game thing is on the wall, the floor was incredibly sticky and really unappealing when we are consuming...
Read moreGoing against the flow here, I have to say that I was not overly impressed with our visit. The ice cream is ok, but it is soft serve. Much like Dairy Queen. I got a mix-in dish with chocolate sauce. The “mix in” was Reeces cups. They put one cup stuck into the top of the ice cream. No crushed up mixed in.
The dish was so full of ice cream to the edges, what little drizzle of chocolate sauce they put on runs down the side of the dish onto your hands and the table. And it wasn’t just mine, this is how they made everyone’s. It was apparently their signature.
And the spoons, oh my. They use those tiny “sample” spoons from other ice cream places as their spoons for your dish. No larger spoons available. They don’t give you a clean one, oh no. They are all in the bottom of this dish on the counter so everyone has to fish their hands in searching for a spoon, so everyone ends up touching all the business ends of the spoons. Just gross!
If you want something “fancy” then go here, but if you just want something good, go to Cold Stone down the street.

Read moreHaving achieved that prime level of adulting where I always save room for ice cream, I decided to stop in for a scoop— or should I say swirl while in town for business. The storefront is cute and unassuming boasting a simple black and white menu with anything but simple options. The inside is adorned with neon lights advertising the known fact that ice cream is indeed bae. Quite the aesthetic, if not a little lacking on indoor seating. Let’s be real though— ice cream is an eat-where-you-please treat.
As for the ice cream, it’s a solid 10/10. Maybe even an 11/10 because of the unique flavor offerings. The girl working the counter suggested ube with a drizzle of condensed milk, which despite sounding phenomenal, would have turned me into a ube marshmallow. Even though I saved room for ice cream after dinner, I didn’t save much room, so I opted for just ube soft serve in a cup. The ice cream itself was not overly sweet or overly heavy. And just look at that perfect swirl! All for an incredibly...
