Last Monday at 4 pm. I went to the katy mills loft store, to return something I bought 34 days ago. The issue is that the policy is no full return after 30 days , but Unfortunatelly I was not in town and those 30 days were due. But the problem is not only that , because I accepted ,even tough I donāt think is fare . all tags were on the garment , it was not worn because , when I left town It stay in the purchase bag. I had also the purchase receipt with the full price that I had paid. The manager told me that I will get the return with the discounted price, I accepted the money I was going to lose, but then the lady said that they only give back the money on a store card, but I had pay it in my credit card,which I asume was were they were going to return what I had left which was $66 dollars. I felt pushed to spend the money again in the store ,but this has never happened to me this way. I think is not fair because the items still had the tickets on and never ever worn. The policy is not fair this way . I live in the woodlands and the company has close several stores ,one is the woodlands , and is going to be dificult to go back to katy. I was there to exchange the tops that I bought last night and got something else on the side for my mom. When I told one of the cashier that I need to exchange the size of the top, their system froze so I had to wait like ten minutes then she said that if I want to I can return it but it will be partial refund. Uhm what the heck is the partial refund? What about the rest of the amount then? She couldnāt explain it so I told her nope I want to return it now I want my cash refund back and then she proceeds to ask for my ID. Again uhm Iām not paying with debit or credit card, why you need my ID for? I return things at other stores and they donāt ask for my ID unless Iām paying with cards. I went with my sister-in-law whom shops there all the time and gets yearly coupons to take an extra 50% off the total price. Well this year the sales associates refused to give us the coupon with the in store deals. This was just the second rude encounter we had to put up with from employees. The first rude encounter was with the associate that works the fitting room. Heaven forbid we shared a fitting room to allow more customers to try clothes on and then dared to have one of us go out and get a different size. We got attitude for needing to try different sizes.
