Great American Cookies — Restaurant in Katy

I’ve come to this location several times now requesting to split a Classic Sundae and the workers were always gracious to do so. I came in today Jan 15th around 2pm the woman that was behind the counter refused to split the sundae. I told her we’ve had it done in this location before, she didn’t care. I understand this may be part of your policy but like I talked to the supervisor Alejandro about, who claimed to be the owner, if you are going to provide a service or not, at least be consistent. Then he said he hasn’t seen us before. In my replay I agreed with him since the people who helped before, weren’t there. My main issue is that instead of being understanding and apologetic, the staff was defensive and made me feel like I was lying. I could get ice cream anywhere especially a sundae, which isn’t even their specialty. What brought me back was the customer service and unfortunately what won’t bring me back ended up...

Attempted to get ice cream from this location.....as I was helping my 3 year old decide on toppings. I see a gnat flying over the gummy bears. I was so grossed out....as I was attempting to get over what I saw and walk away. The teenager who was serving the ice cream says, "do you still want it or no?" Ice cream had no taste. It tasted worse than the grocery store bought cheapest ice cream. Too expensive for such bad quality and false advertising. On the wall, they had that the waffle is free and any number of free mix ins. The employee said it was only 3 ??! And she refused to give out the free waffle. She even tried to ring one scoop for $10 then quickly changed it to $7. Worst ice cream ever. Is it really a franchise or a rip off?? Ice cream 1/10 Service...
