MISS A — Local services in Katy

Look it takes a lot for me to write a BAD review .So I was shopping with my 8 year old daughter today , I let her pick out a few things , we love this store! However after checking out my items were just handed to us , I asked the young lady if she would put them in a bag she replied NO! Remind you the others ladies bagged everything for their customers that stood right beside me on each side . As I looked around in confusion she stated you don’t have that many items so you can carry them or put them in your purse or whatever bag you have . Because we are running low on bags! Now when I asked for a manager she stated “I am the manager “ oh boy . I said to her okay we’ll do you have a manager she said I am the manager . I asked her well who do you report to are you the owner? manages information please , remind you I was just as polite , She said I’m not giving you her name or anything else for this . I simply said no problem and requested a refund . I took a picture of the receipt after I stepped to the side and she suddenly disappeared, I asked one of the ladies at the register what was the mangers name she told me Daphne not sure if that was the young lady who checked me out or if Daphne is the manger I was asking for . I said all that to say this type of blatant poor customer care/service is horrendous. If she would have just said hey we are running low on bags would it be okay if you could put the items in other shopping bags that you have and then allowed me to say not a problem (which I would have said), I wouldn’t be writing this long winded review. Everything in here is just $1.00 except for some bulk stuff I saw that you could buy behind the counter and the face mask required to wear for covid-19. I would like however for them to set their store up better for social distancing. The people behind me were basically breathing right on my neck and we I looked back everyone appeared to be standing that close. The cashier didn't have good customer service at all, just rang you up and kind of snatched this other persons card to ring her up. Also the main machine to do your card by yourself wasn't working so she had to handle our card which I didn't like. I did like that they had a few varieties of natural bathbombs and oils y your hair. I love this place never had even heard of them til I walked past the store at the mall and popped my head in, very cheap prices they have a lil of everything makeup, face wash, jewelry, nail polish, definitely a place for us ladies who try and save money alot of the prices are $1.88 - basically under $5-$10 great spot I will be going back I loved the stuff I got thank u and the girl who worked there helped me with some face wash she was very educated and knew exactly which items were for what thank u so much, can't wait to take everyone I know by this store to check it out.
