OMG!!!! I have been shopping at children’s place for close to 10yrs and never in my life have I been humiliated or treated with such wickedness. On 3/4/2020, I paid over $150 for the items I bought from children’s place at Katy Mills mall. I proceeded to change my screen protector at a phone accessory shop down the hall. Then I returned within just a few minutes to change one of the dresses I bought to a different size. The lady who assisted me said they didn’t have a different size, so I said ok, and I left. The moment I stepped out, a cop approached me and said “ is everything in your bag paid for” I turned around in my shock thinking he was kidding. I said of-course everything is paid for. He then said, I was seen at Old Navy store earlier. I said, I was not there today and I would very much like to see the camera footage of me being inside Old Navy today. He took my merchandise and I followed him back into Children’s place. At this point, people had started to gather and all wondering what was happening. I asked in utmost confusion of what was happening, then the mall security responded that if I was not stealing, then they will let me go!!!!!!! Can you imagine my embarrassment and utmost emotional trauma!!! I said “ what?? Me?. Then a lady who works at the store said they saw me talking to a customer who she suspects was stealing. She also said she feels like that lady’s Old Navy shopping bag seemed to be getting “bigger and bigger”. I do recall saying a few words to a lady shopping, but I don’t even remember what she looks like. The cop took my ID and asked for my phone number. After what seemed like a while, he returned my stuff to me. When I got into my car, I called the store to ask to speak with someone in upper management. The Children’s place employee who claims to be acting under the company’s directive is called “Kenya”. I told her this unjust and inhumane accusation has caused me immense grief and serious heartache and someone from upper management must call me to explain. She took my name and number. It is currently 9:30pm on 3/6/20 and no one from the store including the police man that said to my face that they saw me at old navy, did not have the decency to call me to apologize for this wrong accusation. Read moreHorrible customer service! I have been shopping at Children’s Place for many years, and I buy a lot online. This location is messy and nasty. The manager is trash! We needed to use a dressing room, and their “manager” and the fake security guard treated us like prisoners! I have a bag of over $200 in their clothes to exchange, so I believe we have a right to check if what I’m buying will fit my child! To yell at grown adults like you’re above them, is unacceptable! The worst customer service ever! Then to yell about our drink when it is 100 degrees outside. My child has never experienced grown adults yelling like street trash, and for their staff to think that’s acceptable in a children’s store, then they shouldn’t work where children shop! We did nothing to be treated like they did to us. We asked for simple customer service! I will go all the way to the top and make sure this manager is trained on customer service or FIRED. Read moreDecided to go this past weekend which was tax free weekend to get my son some pants. I understand that lines were going to be long. They had an express line for customer with less than 10 items. It toke at least 20 mins to get to the front. There was customer that had about 20 items, her card had issues and it was just a mess!!! We stood in line for another 20 mins only for the line to be diverted and the manager Kenya who apparently has no sense of service or customer service skills decided that she would bring the same people who had issues with their card to the new line! By then everyone started complaining that we had been in line for at least 40 mins and this customer that had issues with her card should have been addressed separately making way for other customers. It was such a mess! Morgan your sales associate should be fired!!! She has no sense of the word “customer service “. She was rude, loud and nasty in her approach!
