4/22/24 @ 7:45pm. Let me start by saying I’ve never had any problems nor complaints about this PINK location, whenever I’ve shopped in here everyone has always been super helpful and knowledgeable. But tonight I came in and was immediately greeted by a cranky, unhappy older lady at the front, not even saying hello but trying to prevent me from looking around, at 7:45pm, they close at 8pm. She said “10 minutes we close, you buy or no?” in broken english, and I replied to her saying I’m going to exchange a few products for a different size. She left me alone and then came back 2 minutes later reminding me again that they close soon and that the “registers are right there so please go there”. I understand wanting to go home on time but shooing your customers out is not very professional. Anyways, I stepped into the register line a couple minutes later and the cashier (didn’t get her name but had some big lashes on and a bad attitude) didn’t even say hello but I did and told her I needed to do an exchange. I handed her the receipt and my items and I noticed then she was inspecting one of the items I was exchanging as if there was something wrong with it. Instead of talking to me directly and asking about the product she then talks into her headset in Spanish, she apparently thought I don’t understand anything in Spanish, to the older lady at the front who I can only assume is the manager, saying “there’s no tag what do I do”. I just waited there patiently at the counter for her to find the item on the receipt and then she continues picking up the item with disgust as if it’s dirty or a piece of trash, and then talks into her headset again to the older lady “y esta sucio….” Again, I was not trying to hold anyone up or hold up the line that was forming behind me but just wanted to the exchange over with, but this cashier was looking for problems and gossiping into her headset with the lady at the front. After turning around the item several times “inspecting” it, she finally acknowledges me standing right in front of her for the past 5 minutes, and says “it’s dirty we can’t accept this return only exchange…” and rolls her eyes at me. Even though it was not dirty I was not in the mood to argue with someone like her and told her “sure that’s fine, I never wanted to return it or refund, just wanted an exchange as I stated from the moment I approached your register.” She could not even point out where the item was dirty, she just kept saying it’s dirty. After she’s done printing the receipt and tossing my stuff into a bag, she doesn’t even say anything else, no thank you no nothing, after she just made me stand there and wait for five minutes as she’s looking for problems and ignoring me the entire time. And not to mention, when I was inside the store I noticed the old lady manager at the front preventing Black customers from entering the store when the store is not closed, at 7:50pm. That’s a bit excessive, in my opinion. When I was walking out the store I was talking with my boyfriend about what just happened and said how the shirt was not dirty because I have never even worn it before, and the old lady at the front had the audacity to say “no, estaba sucio obviamente, si tienes ojos” and I’m like, you did not even see the product yourself you were standing the entire time at the front specifically preventing black customers from entering your store, how can you know? Also if you are in such a huge rush/hurry to go home, why are you dragging out such a simple transaction for 5+ mins, keeping other people behind me in the line waiting thus prolonging the amount of time you still have customers in your store…
Like I said, I understand wanting to go home on time but you are still an establishment and place of business and you’re treating customers like trash and gossiping in another language just because you’re cranky....
Read moreMy fiancée and I went in to simply use our coupons and it turned into getting a variety of items. We found a great bra I wanted to try on. The lady who sized me sized me larger than the VS bra I currently had on. So I pulled my current size and the size she said I was in the bra I wanted to try. The wait line for the fitting room was seven people deep. Although we didn’t really have the time, I decided to wait anyways. As I was getting in the line, the VS employee said the bra would be in the room and took the two bras out of my hand. After nearly 20 minutes of waiting, I get to the room and they hand me a generic bra that I already have. I stated I already have that bra and informed her I was told the bras I wanted to try on would be in my room. I informed her each style bra fits differently (as if she already didn’t know that - she works there), and I wanted to try on the style bra I was interested in purchasing. Four ladies working the fitting room, two of them extremely rude and made me feel as if I was an inconvenience, one just listening to what was going on, and one who actually was asking questions to get somewhere. When I tried to explain the look, location, style, color, fitting, literally everything about the bra that I already once had in my hand, my patience was lost. I grabbed my items and left their items behind. I was tired of being an inconvenience and hearing the mumbling under the breath of the lady with the colorful hair in the dressing room. Never again will I return to that unorganized,...
Read moreWhile on a business trip to Houston I had to pop in and get a gift for my wife last minute. Aware I was late dripping in 15 minutes before closing time at 20, I was sure I could get what I needed before closing. I get the 19:45 and a woman at the entrance says they are closed. She kept being rude and saying they are closed and I simply said you are open for 15 mote minutes and walked in. The experience already ruined, a few minutes later the manager comes and says they are closed. This 13 or so minutes before closing time. I said you are open until 8 and I will be out of the store by then and kept shopping. With the ruined shopping experience I got a few things of what I wanted, payed and walked out the store at 19:58, 2 minutes before closing. I cut a business dinner short to get a Uber in time to do this last minute shopping for my wife and I'm met by this rude attitude that the store is closed , 15 minutes before closing time. I will not be visiting VS again at this location again next time in the the Houston area.
I was aware that I was last minute but you clearly state you are open until 20:00, not 19:45. You don't have to meet me with a shifty attitude. Just say that you are closing at 20:00 and that I should be done with shopping by then. I would have been perfectly...
