Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings — Restaurant in Kingman

I went I. Last week and had a bad experience with the woman that was working there. My grandson order a children’s meal it came with a drink. He is eight. We were waiting for our food and Nathaniel went to get his drink. They had the icee and fountain drinks together. We weren’t looking at them and Nathaniel asked if he could get an icee. We said sure. Then the cashier said you know that is extra. Which we didn’t because we couldn’t see the sign. she told my granddaughter in a not so nice voice that was a dollar more. Tasha went and paid the dollar. Then she said and nine cents. Tashagave her another dollar and said it would have been nice if it had mentioned the extra charge at the register so we could have paid it then. She through the 91 cents in their tip jar. I had already tipped on the order. We we discussing that they should have had it so we knew because we didn’t look at the machines after we paid because Nathaniel was the only one getting a drink. I had order a shake for mor my husband but that was being made behind the counter. They brought the food and I don’t have the shake. I mentioned it and she went back and looked at the order on the screen even though I had the receipt in my hand. She told the other employee to make my shake I moved down the counter. I had mentioned when she was done that she may want to work on her attitude a little bit. About two minutes later she walked down and said that as far as she was concerned I never need to come back to the restaurant. I repeated that all I said was she needed to work on the attitude and I had been quiet about my comment. Then it escalated and she raised her voixe and unfortunately I did to. I told her I had left a tip on the card and I didn’t want her to touch a penny of the tip and walked out and I said some not so nice words to her. She did get her wish I will never set foot in there again. I did complain to corporate and of course heard nothing. I have worked in the service industry for years and have never spoke to my customers the way she spoke to me. I tell my customers they keep me employed my boss just signs the paycheck. I ordered a philly and classic wings and cajun fries, when i got there to pickup the order I checked it and they made boneless instead of classic wings, I let the young man know and he and the other gentleman were very polite and apologetic and started the wings right away after they confirm that I indeed ordered the classic wings I also asked the gentleman if he could make new fries as the first would be soggy by the time the wings were done which he agreed. he also told me just keep the boneless wings because they would throw then out anyway. a couple minutes later a woman walked and asked what I needed i told her what happened and that they already took care of me, she then proceeded to start going thru the bag with the food at that time I stated again that the had already took care of me which she raised her voice and said I AM THE MANAGER !! she then opened both boxes and started looking up my order which the other two already did. she then asked the younger man what he was doing making fries which he told her why. she then stormed up to the counter and said if your getting more fries I cant have the mismade order which I was already told to keep so I pulled it out and gave it to her she them thru it in the trash can. The MANAGER was extremely rude and has no customer service at all, you should think about making the young man the manager as he has the qualities to handle people...

I am assuming she was some sort of shift leader or manager..in her flip flops behind the line ..bigger lady with black hair..anyway..this poor little old man with a walker needed help getting water in a cup from the soda machine. This woman shouted angrily across dining room at this little man ...wearing a veteran hat ...she didn't choose to help him yet 3 different times shouted at him that he was pushing wrong button trying to get water. I will never return to this Charley's . This was not ok...I dont think she was even on shift because her boyfriend was there and they left hand in hand into walmart after the public verbal slaying of a sweet ol guy just needing help. Shame on you for having a person like this...
