How’s this for a testament... My daughter set her iPhone on the back of her dads car and forgot she put it there. He ran down to the supermarket. My daughter used her sister’s phone to call her dad and said that she had left her iPhone 8 (that she had just got for Christmas) on his trunk. Guess what wasn’t on his trunk when he arrived to the grocery store? I drove up and down our road and then on the very busy main drag to the supermarket. I didn’t spot the phone. Dad used the find my iPhone app and yelled at me to get in the car and drive him. It was right on the very busy road. We drove to where it said the phone was and pulled over onto a dirt drive. We looked all around but still no phone. I told Dad to ping the phone. When he did he realized that the map was not in fact pointing to the side of the road, it was saying that the phone was right in the middle of the road. I turned and by the grace of God spotted it. I yelled and pointed to it. A big truck zoomed by and then there was a large lull in traffic. Dad ran out to the middle of the four lane road and recovered it. We couldn’t believe that we had actually found it and that it wasn’t in worse condition. Don’t get me wrong, the screen was completely shattered and the case was a little worse for wear. It was a brand new Stitch case that she had designed and bought while we were at Disney. We pulled in home and told her that she wasn’t going to be able to use the phone for a while because we were going to have to fix the phone. We aren’t wealthy so it was going to be a while. She was going to have to go back to her old iPhone 6. As we were sitting on the back porch examining the phone I asked Dad to see it. I peeled off the screen protector that we had picked up for $5 at five below to go along with her phone on Christmas and low and behold there was not a crack in the screen!!!!!!!! Holy cow! A $5 investment from five below and a $40 disney case (that did not look like it was going to be super protective)saved our daughter’s $700 phone. I couldn’t believe it and neither could Dad! Not even the back of the iPhone was cracked (in case you don’t know Apple made the back of the 8’s glass again. Her new lilo and stitch case is toast and so is the protector but that’s a small...
Read moreI've been to the D Tech location in Hollywood Studios a while ago and they had iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S6 and S8 cases. However, I want to know if the Disney Springs location has Galaxy Note 8 cases for custom design. Unfortunately, they have no phone line to ask them about inventory and the websites do not shed any light on that either. I'd actually have to drive over there on the off-chance that they started carrying Note 8 cases. Not going to happen.
I haven't been terribly impressed with Disney, in general, over the last year or so...I will not be renewing my annual pass...
