Beautiful shop! Walking into this space you can feel how much the owners and employees love and care for plants and how much they want to share that joy with others. I found the business both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional for optimal plant health and customer ease. I was fortunate enough to shop at a time when the owners happened to be there. As I gazed at all of their stock they happily answered my questions (and there were a lot! Haha) without pressuring me to buy. They were happy to talk with me about their favorite soils and how they alter their homemade soil depending on the plant's specific drainage and watering needs. There was a large variety of plants there, in types as well as sizes. I have been to many small plant boutiques and I consistently find plants to be underwatered, droopy, and very high priced for the small size and poor health of the plant. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this store. Yes, their prices are higher than you will find at Star Nursery or Lowes, but you can see the difference in these plants. The lights, the soil, the pots, the education. That's what makes this place stand out. This is what makes them different. This is what makes this boutique more than just a place to a shop and more of an experience. Plant Haven is a well loved part of the Container Park and Downtown Las Vegas community. I hope this business continues to stand the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not sure why they chose this location for a 'house' plant store as there is no easy parking, tourist hours and overall out of the way. I've gone into this store hoping to see something new or unusual. No luck, just basics, with words of "we had that, but it sold out" My thought is if it sells out, why don't you have more on the way? It's very tight in there and I'm not feeling they know what they are doing. The lighting was not what I'd call optimal and so scattered where the plant family that is was difficult to choose what may be worth the high price. When I pick a plant, I like to look at all the choices together, then pick. Then there are the prices, too high for what you are trying to move. Star and smiths have all the same plants for 1/3rd your list price. Do tourist buy plants in Las Vegas? Perhaps I'm missing something. I don't feel they know the market, plants or how to run a business - I've offered to help, a few times, but no one reaches out. I wish them the best of luck, but I don't see it lasting, sadly. I'd still like to help, but as of now, I'm going to have to rate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in one day and instantly loved the energy of the atmosphere. I met Jacobo and he answered all 20 something questions I had with patience & a smile. On top of the beautiful store and superb customer service, Jacobo informed me that they make house calls. I took him up on the offer and was in contact with their associate on Instagram. They were quick with responses and made me feel comfortable to have someone come to my home. Jacobo came to my home fully equipped and ready to work. He educated myself & my partner on our plant set up & gave me the tools needed to be even more confident as a plant mom. I had a monstera that was sun burnt (because iām new to Vegas heat/sun) and Jacobo turned my 1 struggling to survive Monstera plant into 4 and they are THRIVING!! I recommend this...
