Incorrect room configurations were selected by the reservation service, but we were charged $235 EXTRA, per room for "upgrades" to correct THEIR MISTAKE. No offer to comp a meal or some casino credit... Nothing ... just "not our problem". Keurig machine in rooms with only 2 pods for a 2 person/3 day stay... and they want $15 EACH for extra coffee pods?? Seriously? Zero room cleaning, fresh towels, etcetera during your stay unless requested, and if you ask you may incur extra charges. Food in the main hotel restaurant was very substandard, especially for the cost. I almost never complain about food, but it sucked. Electrical problems in one of the rooms required a room change, but again no offer of any compensation. No microwave in room? No extra toilet paper? Noise from the street was LOUD in the room, and made sleeping difficult. No fan or anything to help mask the noise. ... Good side: Beautiful building and decorations. Nice casino. Clean, comfortable room. Huge bathtub. Most of the doormen, waiters, and casino staff were nice...

Read moreI highly recommend staying at the GN. It's so clean and the people are fabulous! My husband and I loved the pool and water slide. I even went down the slide...it's fast! So beware..lol. Due to an unexpected family emergency we had to leave early. We were not charged for the nights not used. We were told that's because we booked directly with GN.
