Rent-A-Center — Local services in Lebanon

I have rented from them multiple times. The first couch was used and after a couple months we dicided to switch couches because the recliner piece was breaking. We ended up getting an electric couch with a recliner. We have slowly seen our electric bill go up when we were told it wouldnt go up more than $10 the most. It went from $80 a month to $110 and we called Rent A Center to see if we could get a different couch because of that and the fact that the recliner goes up and down really slow and if I have to get up quickly I can't because it goes down really slow. And the manager told me that its winter time so its not the couch. But we know it is because we dont have electeic heat. Nothing has changed except the couch and was accusing us of ruining the last couch we had when they had to stitch it before we got it and when they brought it, it was in rough shape as it was. Then said that we had cats because there were scratches on it. Im highly allergic to cats and we told them that but it was still our fault that a preused couch that we got was alrealy ruined when we got it. Not impressed with the manager. There nothing but thefts there no better than a theft braking into you house an robbing u for every u have the don't keep there word an then that try an take the stuff back so you pay all that money just for em you take it back from you n don't even think bout going on vacation u can tell them u after and they will tell you it's fine just part wen ur back yet the whole time you on vacation they harrass you non stop then threaten you with court an want there stuff back even tho u told them what you where doing an they even tell u it's fine. They will even try to go into your apartment to take your stuff by asking the landlord or someone that just try n let themselves in. there rude on the phone the whole business is corrupt your better just saving the money just an bring it out right me or of Facebook. I have been renting from Rent-A-Center for a number of years now. Up until most recently all of my experiences with Rent-A-Center have been pleasant. Within the last year or so however I have seen a new crew of faces at the West Lebanon location and those new faces have brought a FAR less than pleasant experience. I will say that Billy (whom I believe to be the manager) is one of the better ones they have on their team, along with Jesse (who has worked there for some time now); but the other staff members that have recently been made part of the team are rude, pushy, and down right annoying. When a customers bill is due on a Saturday I feel there is no need to call them 3 times on a Friday to try and have them make their payment, nor is there any reason to call them first thing Saturday morning and again multiple times throughout the day until they pay...relax guys, it's a...
