Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture company.
We placed our order for the Mirage Sectional with Zuri Furniture back in early May. During the order process, we made it very clear that we could not accept delivery until late June, which was acknowledged and agreed to by their sales rep, Sierra Preston. After that, everything fell apart.
Even after placing the order, I had to constantly chase them down just to get the most basic updates. The order was supposed to be processed on June 6th, but when I hadn’t heard anything, I reached out myself on June 10th to ask them to process the order. They finally responded and processed it on June 12th. After that, there was still no communication — no tracking information, no updates — so once again, I had to reach out on June 18th. When my email to Sierra went unanswered, I called the company on June 19th. Only then was I informed that the couch had failed the inspection required before shipment and that they had no idea when they would have the sectional in stock.
Meanwhile, their website continues to advertise the Mirage Sectional as being “in stock,” which is incredibly misleading given that I’ve been told they have no estimate whatsoever for availability. My multiple requests to speak with a supervisor have been completely ignored. Every time I reach out, I get vague, conflicting information, and I’ve had to initiate every single communication just to get the bare minimum of updates.
What started as an exciting purchase has turned into a nightmare. Zuri Furniture has shown a complete lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service. I expected so much better for a company that sells high-end furniture at premium prices. I will never do business with Zuri again, and I strongly caution anyone considering them to think twice before trusting this company with your time,...
Read moreZuri's Ford Desk, ordered online, arrived with mismatched horizontal panels of a light walnut color, not the advertized cherry-wood veneer finish of the side pedestals, as shown on their website. They initially denied any color variation, but the photos showing the mismatch were clear, and they offered to send us replacement pieces. However, the replacement, which we had them photograph before shipping, had the same wrong light-walnut color. We then asked for a complete refund, and Zuri had their shipper collect all the pieces. However, Zuri charged us $200 to collect the items, initially saying this was because we did not save the packing boxes (the whole process from receipt of order to return took 6 weeks), and then changing their rationale to one of "We offered you a discount to keep the mismatched color pieces, and you refused." It is not our obligation to accept a clearly faulty product. It is as if a consumer ordered a tailored, pinstripe business suit that arrives with a gray jacket and black pants. Sure, one could wear it, but it is far from ideal and not what...
Read moreOverall, I would not recommend to buy from Zuri, and I definitely will not buy from them again.
I ordered a coffee table for $700+ online from Zuri, and my table arrived with damages on drawer and drawer box. The item was packed very professionally and carefully, so it does not seem to be caused from transportation. Reached out to service team, and they will send replacements for me without a drawer box and another damaged drawer. Then, I reached out to them again, and this time they sent both drawer and drawer box which are exactly what I need, but the drawer box is damaged again. I don't know if their inspection team has a problem, or they are just selling damaged products. Finally, I did not request another replacement since I am SO MUCH FRUSTRATED of waiting for defected replacements over and over AGAIN. Decided to live with damaged coffee table as a reminder not to buy anything from Zuri Furniture again.
They deserve 2 stars because the customer service team use really nice words to mitigate the problem and calm you down, but words are not enough, actions are...
