I just left this store and had a bad experience. Loss Prevention guy had a blue shirt on and another employee tall guy named cliff. I recorded everything when I noticed what they were doing. LP approached me pretending he wanted to help me but really he was just using trying to interrogate me cause I had like more than 3 tools, I was buying tools I needed and also a couple for my boss, he gave me a list of what tools he needed and his card. Everything was going to be paid for in two separate transactions and I guess since I dont look normal? Young Hispanic man with face tattoos I know he was most likely profiling me and thinking I was going to steal. I had hard earned money and I even went back inside to talk to them about how I really feel like that was wrong and showed them I had money I had a couple 100's. I was going to PAY!!! and they didn't even care. I talked to cliff first cause he was following me and my wife around along with LP Guy. And Cliff tried playing dumb and I asked him why were you guys following me so damn hard like that? He couldn't answer my question. And I told him how I really felt like I was being profiled and he just had like a smirk on his face like it was funny and he didn't care and just kept saying "I feel you" "I hear you" "I understand" and I also told him is it cause I don't look like everyone else in here? What is it? The way I dress? My face tattoos? And cliff hes a tall dark guy he replies saying "you look more like everyone else in here more than me" " and I'm not being followed" WTF?? what's that supposed to mean? You work there dude why would they follow you??? You made no sense dude, you just didn't know what to say cause I confronted you. The LP guy made me and my wife so super uncomfortable while we were trying to finish shopping and he was just following us super hard and wasn't even slick about it. LP guy if you read this man seriously you need some training man I worked at Walmart for over 2 years and the way you do things is honestly just creepy and uncomfortable. You tried to intimidate me man and being all hostile but there was nothing for me to worry about or to be scared of cause I knew I was doing nothing wrong at all. You were just assuming dude. I even did end up asking for your help to help me find something and having conversations. Then when I noticed what you were doing me and my wife walked around on purpose so see if your creepy stalker self was actually following us and sure enough you were. And cliff dude I came up too and you acted dumb like you didn't know what I was talking about but then later on in our conversation you say "well usually when people buy tools they just get 1 or 2 things and you had more than that" so you told on yourself when you tried to play dumb. AND WHO ARE YOU TO SAY/TELL AND JUDGE,MAKE RULES OR WHATEVER ON WHAT PEOPLE BUY AND HOW MANY THINGS WE BUY? You guys profiled me and wont admit it and play dumb like you guys weren't following me and like you didn't know what I was talking about. I have it all on film. And I walked around trying to look for the LP guy but he was hiding and I tried finding a manager to talk too but everyone in there seemed to not care at all. This was really wrong. And LP dude you're creepy, I'm probably wasting my time on this cause you guys will most likely do nothing at all. I will never go there ever again or spend a penny there. I get profiled so damn much by people all the damn time and by cops for literally nothing! Just cause the way I look and have face tattoos dont mean anything. I'm actually a real nice dude and straightened myself out years ago and stay out of trouble. I just work really hard and make hard earned money and mind my business. Everything was going to be PAID FOR! I had money and my bosses card to PAY for everything! Also I saw so many other people with Their carts filled more than mine including tools. Some people had like $1,000 worth of stuff but cliff say that I have way too many tools and that people usually don’t buy that much? Either they profiling or thinks I...
Read moreWent in to by a new door, spoke with a very nice sales representative that stated she honestly didn't know about the paticular door I was asking about so she offered to have the "person" over the department "Amruta" to call me when she arrives at 10:30 am. Waited all day for a call and finally at 4:15 I received an incoherent voice message clearly from someone with a very strong accent. I called in and "Amruta" got on the line. She was extremely rude from the get go. When I questioned her why it has taken so long for a returned call she responded, "I have been very busy with customers here in the store." There was never any kind of apology from her just constant speaking over me. When I asked "who" her manager was she said, "she is here, do you want to speak to her?" When I asked her again "who is your Manager/Supervisor" she again ignored my question. After the third time to get a name, she finally gave it to me. I then asked to speak with her and she left me on hold for sometime. Amanda Raines got on the phone. Lets just say that if Amanda is the one who trained "Amruta" for customer service, then as the American saying goes, "the apple didn't fall to far from the tree." Amanda then turned into an extremely rude person when I made mention to "Amrutas" strong accent and rudeness to me on the phone. I was trying to explain that had "Amruta" at sometime just said that she apologized for not calling back sooner there would not be any bad review from me. However, instead when I told Amanda that she needed to train Amruta better on slowing down her speech because of her heavy accent and learn to apologize to customers. Amanda immediately said that I was being "racist" with making any comment about her strong middle accent. Amanda eventually disconnected the call and would not give me the name of the Manager of the store. What is America coming to? A simple apology to a customer goes a long way. And I am definately...
Read moreWe have been waiting for 6 weeks for a carpet install. From the day the carpet was purchased (6-27-20) until today, we have received such below average service, im shocked they can even sell carpet. We spoke to a manager, NOT the GM and he was going to do his best to resolve the issue after 2 weeks. He assured us we would have a speed install for the wait...That day came and went without a word. We again called back and was given the number to the 3rd party install company, who told us point blank " we don't know where the carpet is". Once again we call the store back and now they say due to covid we were delayed. Another week goes by not a word...We call back and no one has a clue at Cooper installation whats going on. She were finally given a date of Aug 4 from Cooper installation and guess what......Yup..NO call NO word...NO CARPET. We have our house listed for sale and the carpet was the last piece to the puzzle and we are going through showings and walk through with a subfloor...NO ONE from home depot knows whats going on, the gaye keepers keep you from speaking to the General manager and we are at an impass.....Home depot needs to stop passing the buck...Not once have we been offered an alternative choice, even if it means they take a little loss on the carpet they DO have in stock, and no one has even really tried to get tonthe bottom of the issue.....We should have just continued the wood flooring we got from lumber liquidators, which by the way took a total of 2 weeks from purchase to completion.....Utterly the worst customer service we have ever...
