Taco Bell — Restaurant in Lewisville

I use to come to this Taco Bell pretty regularly when it first opened but haven’t been in the past few years. Figured I’d go today since I’ve been really craving it, however I was kinda taken aback by their customer service. I’ve worked in a handful of food places myself and totally understand the stress of working at a customer service place so I’ve never been one to say anything even if the service isn’t the best, but this was a situation that really bothered me. They were kinda busy when I pulled up in the drive thru but the guy who took my order was decently nice, asked how I was and took my order. I ordered 2 cups of water when I got to the window I found out they apparently they don’t have cups of water and only had bottled water (Aquafina) which I didn’t want so as the girl at the window goes to hand it to me I asked if she could actually take it off. She turns to the older gentleman that was next to her and tells him I don’t want it and he replied “she wanted water, that’s water” and I told him through the window that I wanted to take it completely off, he then proceeded to roll his eyes at me all annoyed and said “well it’s already ringed up” which confused me. I didn’t pay yet and the water bottles didn’t leave the window, why couldn’t it just be removed from the ticket? I didn’t want to cause a scene or start a fight, especially since I was starving already so I just said okay and took the waters. I don’t know if that guy was a manager but it was so random to be that annoyed at simply voiding something on a tender that hasn’t even been paid for yet. It’s not that hard lol, so now I’m stuck with 2 waters that I paid $5 for, very unfortunate and I hope that guy finds...

I visited this Taco Bell and ordered some Nacho Fries but asked they be dropped fresh so they would be hot. The guy said ok but that I would have to pull around and wait. I said ok no problem. I get to the window and pay and he hands me my entire order. I ask him if that’s everything and he said yes. Before I pull off, I taste a fry and they are cold and stale. I ask for new ones and he says, “you REALLY want new fries?” YES, I DO! He leaves the window and returns and says but “we’re going to need those back”…no problem, they are stale. I don’t want free food…I want hot food. He takes the food, then returns and says, “so you know, next time you’re gonna have to take it however it comes!” I immediately ask for the manager and Vanessa comes to the window already bothered and with an attitude. She reiterates that next time they won’t make me fresh fries. I told her I would be calling corporate about it and she said she “didn’t care” as that’s what the training videos tell them to do also. I give her back all the food and ask for a refund. She reluctantly obliges. I drove 7 minutes down the street to another location and had absolutely no issues. I love Taco Bell but this location...

Placed an online order from hotel across the street at 7:48pm, order expected to be ready at 7:57pm. The order is for 10 items for $33. Head over, wait a bit. I am the only person inside the building. At 8:07pm (10 minutes after pickup time) I ask if they have an order for me, they said yes and apologized saying they were really busy. Keep in mind while waiting two other online orders got picked up and then one walk in showed up, plus the drive thru. At 8:10pm I finally got my order, so 22 minutes for Taco Bell…22 minutes for Taco Bell in an empty Taco Bell. Oh, you asked for no ice, here is an empty cup go get your own. Get back to my room and decide to eat the (somehow warm, not hot) food. Wouldn’t you know it, I actually wanted the Chipotle sauce that comes with the Steak Cheesy DIPPING burritos. Alright, start wrapping things up, time for dessert, love me some Cinnamon Twists…um, no, you can’t have those either. So, let’s look at this. I ordered online, so I did the ordering so I know it was ordered correctly. They had 22 minutes to get a fast food order correct and they still managed to get 30% of it wrong. They barely got a passing grade. ...
