First; To everyone who's saying you get it on Amazon for cheaper: yes, that's true, but you pay for convenience, you pay to support local businesses, and you pay to be able to stand in a brick-and-mortar building touching and seeing things IRL/offline.
Second; it's fine. It's honestly not super special or super terrible either. In terms of "experience" shopping, the storefront would benefit from better lighting, better storage and maybe even basic renovations or reorganization. Kinda weird to be walking around and find unlabeled boxes of merchandise laying around or out of season things placed to the side. Do they not have a back room?
But here's what they do well: friendly, helpful employees. Diverse selection of adult toys and activities. Inclusive inventory (ie- queer-friendly, lingerie in sizes XS-3XL, etc.). Fun place to go to grab some NSFW party favors or games for a bachelor/ette party.
If that sounds like your thing, great, make sure to check it out, and if it doesn't, whatever,...
Read moreI love the store itself and the staff so far has been wonderful! It's nice to have something in town to explore and try on products. And Very helpful and casua staff that's eager to help and inform. But what kills it for me is that a lot of the products are very, very expensive. Even the 'cheaper' brands are insanely priced. I understand that some of the items are going to be more for quality, brand etc. but there is not much that is for those who can't dish out 100+ On one outfit or one toy. I love being able to go in and try on products, see, and feel them, so on. But I can order a ton of these products for a quarter of the price online at like Adam and Eve and not have to worry or sacrifice both my wallet or the quality. Which is a huge bummer for me. There also is no website to look at products, reviews and brands. And to my knowledge I've never seen deals or coupons or anything of that sort...
Read moreToday we visited two shops with adult products and lingerie, and the experiences were dramatically different. We loved the Red Fox, and then later we went to Doctor Johnâs to look at harnesses.
The employee working was fantastic, but that doesnât make up for everything else wrong with the store. It looks dingy, the markups are insane (one product was listed for $100 more than the list price!!!!), the lingerie looked mediocre especially for the price, and just overall the selection seemed unimpressive despite it being a fairly large store. While I expect that a physical store may not have the same ability to offer the kinds of deals an online store might, this place is a rip off. And to top it all off, they had a bunch of boxes that werenât put away that prevented the employee from accessing some of the products, inaccessibility is awful anywhere but what a horrible way to treat...
