Went to Men’s warehouse in Park Meadows to get fitted for a tux for a wedding. It’s my first time being a best man so I was super excitedly Very poor experience. I called a few days before and asked when a good time to be fitted would be and the lady gave me a few times including the time I came in today. I called this morning and they said it would about 30-40 minutes in the door and out the door. They must have had dozens of people working and no one greets you upfront. They have 3 registers up front and no one says hi, or that will be right with you. I sat trying to get the attention of several employees only to be told they were with another customer. That was weird, allthough there was a lot of people there, many employees were standing around with the tape measures around their neck just talking to each other. I finally was able to ask what I needed to do to get fitted for my tux. I was told to wait by the podium in the middle of the store and someone would come by to help. After 30-35 minutes I asked someone else how they knew who was next and he said I had to fill out paperwork and they would call my name. I asked where that was at and he pointed to the podium. All I saw was a podium with a shirt and jacket laying on it, he went over and pulled them off and I saw the sign in sheet and paperwork. I filled it out and waited. And waited...and waited. Finally my name was called. I was measured and told I’d be attended to shortly. I had my 3 boys with me and they had to use the rest room. I told the manger I’d be in the back near the restroom in case my name was called. The bathroom was filthy. We are now and hour and 15 waiting and my name gets called. The only reason I am giving a one is because of the young lady who attended us. She was very professional. She gave me the options to wear and I went to the dressing room. The shirt had a NASTY ring of yellow and brown sweat around the collar. I asked If there was another and she said there wasn’t because they wash them every three days or as needed. They don’t changed them out after each day or customer. The only tie for rent came up past my belly button and since there aren’t vests, they said we had to buy a custom, longer tie. The same goes with my shirt. They didn’t have one long enough so I have to buy a shirt. They tried to up sale me up the wazoo and get me to buy everything after I’m done renting. So double the cost if not more. Will only pick my tuxedo there because it’s for my friends wedding and that’s where the group is getting everything. Never will return. Very disorganized. Very unprofessional. Very dirty. Long waits and way to much money. The customer experience is the...
Read moreThis was one of the worst and most disappointing customer service experiences I have had in a long time. My husband and I went Men's Wearhouse to buy him a suit. This was not one of those situations where the store was packed for prom, so you knew you just had to wait your turn. The store was pretty quiet, and staffed with 4 to 5 people as best as I could tell. We walked in and not one person spoke to us. Then I went to the counter to confirm my husband's coat size. Since we had shopped there several times, I knew it would be on file. There was a gentleman behind the counter bagging up a suit, he saw me and said nothing. Once he had finished, I thought surely he will acknowledge me. Nope....not a single word, no "we will be right with you," nothing. Finally, another customer needed assistance so after about 5 or so minutes a very annoyed (what seemed to be manager) got me my husband's size. After that the next obvious question in my mind for him to ask would be "would you like some assistance finding anything," but again nothing!!! So my husband and I proceeded to pick out several suits and shirts. We ended up finding the perfect one with ZERO assistance. It was so bad at one point there were about four employees gathered in the back by the tuxedo rentals. I was looking for a specific size pants and had a suit coat in my hand, and a pair of pants over my shoulder. Not one of them offered assistance. They were too busy consoling one of their work friends on his past relationship rejection. Not only is buying a suit more difficult than your everyday outfit, it is much more expensive. Especially for a man who wears a 46 long coat and XL tall shirts, it is not a simple task. Since it is not a cheap purchase, having an "expert" assist throughout the process is typically very helpful. So after about an hour and a half, and $500, we left with what we needed. As we were checking out there was a gentleman who needed help with an exchange that no one could seem to figure out. Again, this gentleman who seem to be the manager was called up to the counter. He was extremely put off and it showed. The customer asked him what type of refund would be easiest for the gentleman, and he said "I don't really care man," and not in the easygoing way of whatever works best for you the customer kind of way. But in that I could care less about you or your purchase kind of way. If we wouldn't have needed something for today, I would have left with nothing. I can confidently say we will never go back there no matter how...
Read moreThis location is terrible. The associates don’t care about their customers and are unwilling to help when there is an issue. We arrived and were told “If you don’t check in virtually, we won’t help you.” A very abrasive start to the experience, to say the least. But we complied and logged into their website to wait in line virtually. It said we were 8th in line for an hour and watched people who came in after us be helped. We finally went up to the manager and he said, “oh looks like it is malfunctioning. You can come with me”. Very frustrating but I understand malfunctions can happen. We rented a tux and were told the tux would be ready in a few weeks.
My partner went to pick up his tux when it was ready. He also needed to purchase a white shirt. The male associate who was “helping” assured my partner the shirt that felt too small on him would be fine — well it wasn’t! The button on the collar popped off an hour before the wedding ceremony he was standing up in.
We went to exchange (not return) the shirt for a bigger size the weekend after the wedding, and the female associate working said there was nothing they could do because the tags were taken off, and my partner wore the shirt. I reiterated that of course he wore it because he had no options — he was standing up in a wedding that was starting in an hour! The only reason the button popped off the shirt to begin with is because the male associate sold him a shirt that was too small. However, the female associate said she couldn’t help him, no matter the circumstances.
I’ve never had a problem with Men’s wearhouse but I’ve had multiple problems with this location. They need new staff who actually care about their customers and understand that unique...
