I would suggest finding another shop in the area as the staff and shop manager here are very rude and project onto you. I purchased two rosary bracelets for $35 each and the each started to break and fall apart the same day. I was out of town for a couple of days and when I returned I took the items back to the store only to be met with a poor energetic customer experience. I was told that they are not jewelers and they donāt give refunds and that I can go to Michaelās and purchase a tool to fix it myself as if Iām a jeweler. Furthermore, the employee went on to say with poor energetic disposition well thereās nothing we can do but Iāll take your number and give it to our shop manager who then called me with the same energy and statements offering me to exchange it for something else after I already stated there was nothing in the store that needed it wanted. When I expressed that since they suggested I go to Michaelās and get this tool, my solution was for them to go to Michaelās and get the tool to fix it. The shop manager became rude and projected that my tone was escalated when in fact it was not. Her projection wis so she could deflect on the issue at hand and be dismissive to the problem. What I donāt get is the audacity of people who work in what is considered a lifestyle, spiritual store to be so rude. At some point these types of business will fail because of people like this working in them. I hope the owner spends more time in her business and stop letting ungrounded energies run the place. I will never step foot in there again and I suggest you do the same. Just bad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was definitely led toThe Elemental Shop a few months ago, when I set the intention to find community. I take daily walks in downtown Long Beach, at least during the time when I had some extra room in my schedule, and literally found exactly what I was looking for. In a city that feels magical upon arrival, it came as a shock to me that other than Shades of Africa, which is a staple in this community, there wasn't another metaphysical/spiritual shop that felt warm, inviting and good for the soul-- at least mines anyway. I am a tarot reader and although, there are other shops in the area, I never felt a connection to them as I do The Elemental Shop!
From the historically rich aesthetic that brings an esoteric air, reminiscent of Louisiana's Hoodoo culture which is an amalgamation of African American congregation and clergy combined with Roman Catholic iconography and aesthetic, this shop doesn't settle on one denomination but heralds and celebrates them all! With the references to all religious preferences, you have this sense, walking in, that no matter what you believe, you are welcomed in "this space". The shop owner is a wonderful woman of color that really brings an amazing magnanimous energy to the space and is really knowledgeable about Spirit and seems to be learning more and is in a perpetual state of wanting to learn as much as she possibly can about spirituality. I know this was long, but its been on my heart to give this review!
Definitely go find out for yourself! The shop is really stunning and you'll probably leave just a bit better than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI moved to Long Beach in September of last year and had driven past The Elemental Shop several times with an intention to stop in at some point. I finally made it this weekend and Iām so glad I did! The shop and energy of the space is beautiful and uplifting and the people are so gracious and generous. I had a reading with Alisha and it was amazing! I didnāt have any expectations, but when we sat down, she asked me to think about a question. Not only did her words resonate with my question but some of the words were EXACTLY what I had been thinking! Not only that, but Alisha helped me make a very important connection that I had not yet made and Iām so grateful to her. šš¾ Before leaving, I picked up some Palo Santo, Cascarilla, a gorgeous smelling white candle and a lapis lazuli bracelet. Highly recommend this place for supplies...
