My group and I came here after my wedding to have a drink and celebrate. Unfortunately coming here was a grave mistake. When I got to the door I realized I left my wallet in the car. Rest of my party went inside while I retrieved my wallet. When I got back to the doorman he was rude and belligerent. He asked me to empty my pockets which I complied to as he scanned me with a small metal detector. As it was my wedding night I was wearing a tuxedo and belts under my pants to hold my shirt. The metal on them made the scanner beep. The rude doorman asked me to empty my pockets once again, and I explained to him my pockets were empty and that the straps had metal. He proceeded to yell at me belligerently and asked me to pull my pants down if I wanted to be let in. I was shocked! I thought he was joking and asked him if he was serious. As I tried taking a step back from his screaming he put his hands on me and proceeded to pull on my pants and tucked on my private area! As I was pulling away from him yelling for him to stop my party was coming back outside to check for me. We left immediately. I tried calling the next day before leaving for my honeymoon multiple times to address management but phone was never picked up and no voicemail was available. I was lucky that other patrons outside the bar witnessed and were in awe at this horrible behavior and are willing to testify as I will be taking this to court unless management reaches out to help me understand why their doorman is assaulting patrons physically and touching them in a sexually inappropriate way.

They do not serve food BUT they allow you to bring outside food at no charge. They even have menus of nearby eateries that deliver. This is great venue for birthday parties as they will allow you to bring in your own food while you boire their tasty cocktails.
They have billiards!!!! When you get bored of drink and talking with friends (which can never happen right?) you can partake in a game of pool or darts. Darts are free but you have to pay for pool but it's not pricey at all. And if those games don't tickle your fancy they also have shuffleboard. I know not how to play this game but for those who are familiar..YAY!
They also have TV's that play all the sports you desire so another plus....
ONLY CON- HORRIBLE "Old-timey" photo booth that takes zoomed in photos in black&white. The photo quality is horrendous and it takes entirely too long to print. It's really not worth a mention.
Overall great bar! Loads of room and street parking was easy enough. It wasn't really crowded on a Saturday at around 5pm and HH runs SAT - SUN...
Read moreThis place used to be called the Basement a few years back - because it's in the basement of a small corner building in down town Long Beach. It's be renovated and the place looks really cool now. I went on a rainy Saturday night and we had a reserved booth area. It was really spacious and nice, but it was on the side where the sidewalk is above your head and the walls were leaking from the drizzle (it wasn't raining hard that night, so it was kind of scary to think what it would be like if there was a down pour while you were in there).
The drinks were good and the waitress was nice, but I think there was only one and it seemed like she needed help on such a busy night. The music was super mellow - lots of rap. I felt like lots of people wanted to dance, but there wasn't anything with a fast enough beat playing. Everyone was rapping along, but every song felt like it was just leading to something that was going to make everyone get down and it never happened. Wu-tang and Biggie are dope duh, but give us one of their top forties so we could do a little two step.
It's a casual spot, but everyone looked nice. No raggedy dressed folks there. I'd go back for a lounge night. Don't expect to bump n'...
