This is a gorgeous store. It really is. It's laid out beautifully and seemed to be well stocked. Staff greeted us when we walked in and we searched for what we were after. My sister made her purchase first, and then as I stepped into her place to be served next, the girl behind the counter just walked away. No other staff noticed this as they were dealing with some "big wigs" from head office or something, who seemed to care more about how to make more money doing this, that and the other, than serving customers who were at the counter. When eventually the girl noticed her error, there was a slight apology and then business as usual. A company is only as strong as their weakest link, and if something like this happened again, I'd be inclined to purchase other brands considering their competition is everywhere. With that said, the products are good, though expensive, and it's worth using all the testers you need as I've found some of their products can look a little orangey on. Overall, if it weren't for the convenience of being inside a mall, I would be inclined to buy their items at a department store over here, but if you're already at The Grove, then do check out the aesthetics...
Read moreI had an interview with this company and let me tell you it was the worst interview I’ve ever had in my life. These people literally set me up for failure., the trainer Jasmine scheduled me for an interview didn’t even show up, forgot that I even had the interview scheduled for that day , I ended up having to figure things out on my own , figure out where the products were no manager was in there, assisting me or helping me, they literally wasted my time I don’t recommend anybody working for them! There excuse was they had a lot of applicants if you have a lot of applicants, why keep interviewing people wasting their time! Especially if you’re gonna schedule them on a day and you don’t even remember , this is how I know this company is greedy with their employees. They just wanna be able to have people doesn’t matter how you feel doesn’t matter if you did a good job. None of that matters ! I will never applied for this company again, and I will let everybody know my experience! I might write Charlotte Tillberry myself! The Grove team was very unprofessional as far as the management went and the trainer, Jasmine. If I could give a...
Read moreI am really disappointed with the customer service I received here today. A girl seemed eager to help. She asked if I needed anything. When I said "Yes, I would like help.", I had to spell out for her how to help me. She told me a particular eyeshadow palette would look good on my daughter. So I said "OK, please give her an eye makeover with it. I want you to sell it to me." Don't tell me something is good. Show me its good. Take that action yourself. After I left, I realized she did not include the lipgloss I asked for. I returned to the store to make the purchase, taking more of my time. The girl never apologized for my inconvenience. And finally, when I returned home, I realized the two free items that she said I would receive with my $400 purchase was not in the bag! Now, I am all the way home and need to return in LA traffic, because she made a mistake again? I live in Boston and this was my first in person experience at a CT store. My Uber drivers on this trip have been much more helpful than the sales assistance here. So...
