So I’ve been coming to this bar for approximately three years. I love the food. I love the Grove everything about it. The bartenders are not what someone deserves that spend that amount of money that anyone spends when they come to this bar and eat and drink. They will take their time and asking you if there’s anything you want when you sit down, they will ignore you. You have to get their attention and that is horrible. I am a restaurant owner of two restaurants downtown Los Angeles. I live off of Fairfax and San Vicente. I come up this way all the time to eat before I go home. But let’s be real, the burger is ~$16 and literally the size of a slider, (I’ve seen bigger cupcakes) and was dry at best, which in a burger city like LA, is a little insulting. Basic McDonalds fries for $9, watery cocktails for $18, and $12/bottle garbage wine going for $16/glass.
You are literally paying for the location only, so if you don’t need to sit right next to the fountain in the Grove, definitely skip and go to any of the other fantastic places in LA.

Read moreI hadn't been to The Grove in forever, so today I went and I'm glad I decided to try the food at The Fountain Bar. Their truffle fries are so yummy! They smelled so good as soon as they were placed on the table. The Chicken sandwich was also yummy! The sauce is spicy and overall, delicious. I also had a refreshing lemonade for my drink. I enjoyed the food very much and I can't wait to go back again. I recommend this place highly. Also we had a beautiful view of the fountain. I loved our spot. Truly one of the best spots to have dinner at...
