Hollywood Royale — Local services in Los Angeles

This building has two elevators. I don't think the back elevator has functioned in over 13 years and the remaining elevator stopped working on Dec 7th. They kept telling residents they're waiting on backorder parts but then the story changed to some bs about repair company approval or something. Basically them just cutting corners but continuing to collect and raise rents. The building is overrun with roaches and management will not schedule regular pest control, only if they residents request it, which is useless in actually controlling pests. The water is turned off regularly, sometimes with less than 24 hrs notice. there are two garbage chutes but for some weird reason, only one is used leading to garbage overflow and more pests. They remodel Apts for new tenants but use the cheapest options and don't soundproof, so be prepared to hear your neighbors. The laundry room is ill equipped to handle the amount of residents the building has(6 washers and 7 dryers) and regularly has at least 2 inoperable machines. They landscape the front of the building but lock it down so people can't actually use the area. This could be a nice place but management is horribly inept and the owners are...

I need not say much about the location . You are right in the center of Sunset boulevard and Hollywood boulevard which makes you accessible to everything through your feet.  What I would like to mention here is my move in experience which was so amazing in the Hollywood Pointe Apartments.  So I'm an international student, very Alien to the Move In process. I've been here for 2 years in different apartments under various managements and you'll always notice the response is usually slower, you're given unreasonable time frames , sometimes the management imposes such rules you'll feel like you're in some military school But as I said my experience here with the Karla while shifting in was so smooth and easy its the perfect start that someone like me who is new to this place require. Awful Management I spoke to Rosaliano the Regional Manager and Mirna the new property manager requesting Pest Control it’s been about 2 weeks I requested it and nothing has been resolved!! The building is infested and it just gets worse even with the lights on you can spot the roaches Everywhere this is Gross!! They really need to take the tenants safety seriously. I would not recommend this property to anyone it is a joke always shutting off water and homeless people coming inside the building. Pls take your money somewhere...
