Came here today and the food is good but the service wasn't good. They served us halfway water and weren't filled up. They only check on us once. They were under staff. The server walk pass by us multiple time and made eye contact with us but walk away knowing we needed her. One of the server was wearing a green top today. She looked like a manager instead of a server. But I may be wrong. My friend pay the bill and left a 5 dollar tip. Due to bad service we still tip. The server in the green. Shirt came out halfway to pull my friend on the side and ask why we only tip 5 dollar. She ask if the food wasn't good. My friend said the food was good. She did spilled half of our papaya sauce when she brought our food to the table, infront of us. The server had the audacity to ask us to give her 15 dollar tip. I was so shocked because by they have bad service and she expected us to give her 15 dollar tip? My friend is nice and decided to tip her regardless the bad service. By california state law, you as the customer can refuse to tip or ask the restaurant to remove the gratuity. She basically ask for a tip that she didn't deserve at all. At least we still tip her something. I mean we could of just tip her and left without pay the bill. It was so uncomfortable, and she was desperate to the point where she beg us for tip. I didn't like how she made us feel and tried to guilt trip us into giving her more...
Read moreWent there for dinner on a weekday night around 8 pm. The inside was about 40% full and the outside patio had 1 table which seemed to be finishing up their meal. Didn't notice any large groups inside while being seated. Once we were seated (table of 2) a server came by soon enough with menus along with pleasant greeting. We placed our order fairly promptly and the server was good at catching that we didn't order anything to drink and asked us if we wanted anything. We just asked for water and started to chat and wait for 1. Beef Fried Rice and 2. Garlic Lover dish. After about 15 mins we noticed that the table next to us started to get their food (they got seated after we ordered). Even though both of us were very hungry we waited patiently for another 10 mins and finally decided to ask about our food. The food finally came out in another 5+ mins. 1. Beef Fried Rice - had about 5 pcs of beef. Flavor okay. 2. Garlic Shrimp Lover - presentation was good. 6 pcs of good sized shrimp on top of some sort of egg mixture. Shrimp cooked well but the sauce, egg thing , was soooo salty that I almost spat it out. The server came by in about 15 mins after we got our food and ask how everything was. I made a face debating whether to let her know or not but she quickly said good and walked away. Bottom line, I will not return to this restaurant even though the live music...

I recently dined at Thai Patio and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. The menu offered a great variety of traditional Thai dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Fried Egg Rolls and Drunken Noodles with beef, both cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a delightful meal, and I highly recommend Thai Patio for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine.

First time eating here, we ordered sampler platter & chicken satay to start and they were really good. For main course i got fried filet fish basil (it was overly salty) and my friend had green curry chicken (it was very good). We were there around 8pm and it was pretty busy so basically no service at all...the waitress just took the order & dropped the check (after asking many times for the check) never checked our table whether everything was right or not. Since the food was pretty close to authentic thai food, i would come back to try something else...
