1 1/2 minute read: There are OCHA RESTAURANTS strewn all over Los Angeles but not sure if they are run by the same folks. The ones we’ve eaten at served gr8 food. Their menus is impressive. I’ve tried several of their entrees and keep coming back to my standard favorites; Shrimp Fried Rice & Assorted Seafood Soup- served in a pot all lit up with a flame. In this OCHA, parking CAN be a problem. Be adventurous. Go try them out. They are located near the intersection of Western & Sunset- across the street from where ZODYS (1st) and FOOD 4LESS used to be. Thanks

If you’re looking for authentic Thai Cuisine,I don’t recommend eating here,Food is decent but customer service is poor,Ladies ignore and don’t pay attention, seems like it’s their first day on the job,im assuming,It’s not like the original Ocha in LA,I’d rather eat some McDonald’s than come here,And the price isn’t fair, taxed and too little food for so much price…They don’t even offer water and they are most of time on their devices, don’t bother to come here for real,no disrespect to Thai Culture either, people have one job and can’t seem to do it correctly…

Not a single Thai customer and for a very good reason. The food is terrible. Super oily. Chicken saute is deep fried!!! Tables are cleaned with Windex so the whole place stinks of it. Next table was playing videos and other digital content out loud and the staff did not bother to ask them to turn it off, though it was clearly annoying everyone.

I’ve been to so many Thai places all over the valley and we have NEVER received bad customer service like the one at this location. It’s really disappointing especially because I hate to be one that complains. First off, she called us up to the table to order and since we were not expecting to order before we sat, we were thinking about what we wanted and she proceeded to be rude and say “you HAVE to order here”…. Yes we know that as you made that very apparent from the beginning.

Although I’m okay with paying before we sit (perhaps due to the area), I don’t think it’s okay to demand the check/tip while we’re still eating. What’s the rush? We already paid before hand. How do you expect me to tip when we haven’t even finished eating? On top of that, standing behind me looking over my shoulder & bending your neck, waiting for me to decide what amount to tip because your customer service was terrible. Don’t be so rude next time and demand the check & tip right away, it’s disrespectful while we’re still eating. There’s no difference collecting the check after we’re done eating because we...

I came in to this place, and first of all, the old lady up front isn't even wearing a mask, just a face shield, but I tried to ignore that. Then, I was trying to order a specific soup and when I pointed at the menu asking if it was that one, the lady taking my order just nodded. I assumed that she knew what I was asking for. I had to pay upfront before getting my food, and once we got our food, it wasn't what I had asked for. When I told them that I wanted the soup, they insisted that I ordered that. The lady just kept fighting back that it had been my mistake and I had to keep the food since I ordered that. I insisted that I didn't want to take the food and she kept talking over me and wouldn't listen to me. I was trying to tell her that I wouldn't mind paying the difference if what I wanted was more expensive but she just kept interrupting me and being completely rude. They weren't willing to listen or work something out with me. Sadly, I ended up walking out without any food, even after I had already paid for it. Definitely don't go here, terrible...

Visiting Hollywood and this place was next to our motel and we were so hungry so why not? First impression...the place was filled with families and smelled like seafood, run down and not aesthetically pleasing but inviting. BTW if you are vegetarian, not the place for you!

Ordered the basics: veggie pad thai and veggie fried rice. Also had Thai iced tea and coffee. Pad Thai did not have peanuts and was bland. Fried rice was like mush. The eggs in both dishes were not well cooked and runny. My mother is Thai so I know how these dishes are supposed to look and taste.

It was pretty disgusting. We were never asked how our food tasted, as if the servers knew hahah. On top of that, I was ID'd when paying for the meal which has never happened to...
