I was recommended to J&L by another vender we have used a few times for decorations. I attempted to contact them for a few days, and no one ever answered the phone. I ended up texting the number and finally received a reply. I was looking for flowers for our wedding and scheduled an appointment at 10AM a few days later. I have no idea who the person I was texting because they never gave it to me. They also stopped communicating and neglected to give me the address or name of the company. Luckily the phone number pulled up the address and the name of the store. We showed up at the appointment time and the gentleman painting told us she wasn't there. Well now I know it's a she. LOL about 10 minutes later the gentleman got us some chairs to sit in. We told him we were going to walk around and would be back in a few. At 1024 I received a text telling us she was back. I told her we would be back and her response was "no worries." We arrived 20 minutes later and the gentleman was talking to the man in the back about what they were going to tell us since she left again. They were talking in Spanish and didn't realize I understood what they were saying. At that point we were done. I text the number letting them know that we came back and were leaving. I also told them that obviously they didn't want our business and I would ask the referral for another recommendation. All of sudden my phone rang from the number. When I answered she was heated. Told me she was there at 10:02. No you were not. Told me to go ahead with someone else. Was rude and disrespectful to my mother, myself, and my partner who were all trying to talk to her. We ended up hanging up on her because she was so rude and fighting with us. As an owner and multiple businesses, I would never treat my customers the way she did. Maybe answering your phone or returning calls might be a good idea. If you had to do something, maybe communicating that to your customer would have worked in your favor. Horrible...

J&L Florals absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding on 10/21/23 at Neighborhood Church and La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes, CA. They went above and beyond and we got so many compliments on the flowers from every single guest that we were amazed. I literally almost cried when I saw the bouquets and the church and reception arrangements. They were more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined and Joanna, Lizet, and the whole team executed our vision and requests perfectly and really outdid themselves…our mouths dropped and I couldn’t stop looking at the flowers all night!! The delivery process for the personal flowers, arch, church arrangements, pick up, break down, etc. was also seamless and absolutely flawless. Throughout the lead-up to our wedding, Joanna personally worked with me throughout to get the exact look I wanted, made some tweaks after the trial, and went above and beyond to get the exact color light green I wanted. I have always loved flowers and I knew the flowers at our wedding would be one of the most important things to me…Joanna and J&L absolutely made our day and gave us flowers beyond our wildest imagination. The all white flowers look is actually incredibly hard to achieve but they did it perfectly - lush, green, bright, and perfect. Look no further than J&L because we got quotes from every comparable florist and vendor in the area and J&L was by far the most reputable, fair, easy to work with, and skilled - WE LOVE THEM and would recommend them to anyone.
