Horrible experience. The massage was completely unprofessional, and the staff didn’t understand English. The masseuse acted like she was being forced to do the massage the entire time. When I arrived, I specifically asked to focus on the neck and shoulder area, but she barely touched it during the session. Throughout the massage, she kept leaving to answer the phone, walking around to get a bench, and talking loudly with other staff while I was trying to relax. The massage itself was truly terrible. Afterward, she asked for a tip — I didn’t want to offend this unprofessional woman, so I decided to give her $5, but she said she needed $30. I was extremely shocked and my mood was completely ruined. As I was leaving, she shouted insults in Chinese and made offensive comments about my nationality. This place is exactly what you think it is, and they do exactly what you think they do here. I did not realize this before coming here, though thankfully you can decline and they are not offended. My masseuse might have even been thankful for it?

What they don't do are deep tissue massages or much of anything that will help you with sore muscles. Their massages are more a relaxing, Swedish-style. Not much in the way of technique, or pressure, and quite repetitive which speaks to a lack of training. Overall though it was relaxing if nothing else, and $60 for one hour is reasonable.

Be prepared to wait as even if you call ahead they don't book appointments, if someone walks in right before you, he goes first. You're asked to pay before the massage, and when I tipped cash on the way out there wasn't any pressure or...
