This one of my favorite places to get authentic food and people from Guatemala. They have from your typical breakfast to the more skill types of foods. The service is incredible, the boys don't smile that much but are very professional and courteous. The lady's there one or two don't smile too much but the rest are a true symbol of how people from Guatemala are humble and with good charisma. Drinks are mix with some from here and some from the native country. Even sometimes when the line gets long it doesn't take them too much time to catch up. They work collectively, organized and efficiently. 👍👍 love the taste of the food...honestly they still keep the flavor of the food as original as the one from the country itself. One thing did change, they sky rocketed all the prices. A freaking bread with beans, eggs(tomato&onion) and sour cream, 2 more of pork meat and 2 coffees $31 freaking dollars. If they want to make more $$$ open another store instead. They forget in what neighborhood they are in, this isn't rodeo drive, it's not a luxurious place, or Orange County where all the pretentious people live. Be reasonable when you price your food. But at least the food still...
Read moreLady at counter has very bad attitude; been here a couple of times and it's hit or miss depending on which Lady tends to you. I asked for their bread with beans which one Lady takes her time to cut the lid open and make it into a semi bowl so the beans don't fall out (since the beans are liquidy). Well, this Lady cuts across as if she's making a sandwich and starts picking at my bread. I tell her that, "that's not what I requested;" seeing that all the beans would fall right out. I asked her if she could put the beans seprate? While speaking under her breath she grabs two plastic PET 1 containers and begins to fill them with piping Hot refried beans. This bugs me so much that I tell her if she is aware of what she's doing? I inform her that you're not supposed to put hot items in these containers and she replies with a smirk and a "así es como servimos los frijoles aquí!" "Lo va querér?" To which I replied "well, yes I ordered it. But that's toxic!" She then whispers to the lady "tal ves es su primer ves aquí" and she tries to charge me an extra dollar on top of their $.50 debit card service charge. Beware: if they serve it in plastic what could they be...
