It’s Boba Time - Alvarado — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This was my first time at this location and at a Boba Time overall, I was there on Saturday. I was looking over the menu, suggesting drinks to my partner to stall for time because no one was at the registers. I understand that cashiers are not planted at the registers., when I looked up to see if someone was there Scarlet (the name on the receipt) to help I said Hi and she just looked at me blank. I placed my order which she rolled her eyes when I corrected the second drink, I didn't mind the attitude until I got my drinks and I told her "thanks! goodnight" and she turned away without saying anything but as I was walking away from the counter she said a sarcastic byeeee like saying b*itch bye I dont know, I understand its the night shift and the area but i was truly being nice to her for her to treat me like so. I am a manager at a food chain restaurant where I train my cashiers to be nice and patient with customers.

Korean owned establishment that recently opened so the quality is good and ingredients are fresh...for now; let's see how long they keep it up for because there used to be a Chinese fast food restaurant before...and I think it too was Korean owned but the quality degraded after some time before they closed the restaurant down. They started off strong and I even ate there once near about when they closed down and it was a bad experience. Do not support a company that does not support its employees. These korean owners hire you with the expectation that you are available whenever they want you to be. If you are slightly an inconvenience to them, they get rid of you at the blink of an eye. You have to work with them (40+ hrs a week) but they cannot work with you (young college students with ambition). Do not condone this behavior towards the employees. Oh and I almost forgot, the owner has a very prejudiced mindset towards any individual who looks poor, homeless, etc. Very dissapointing. Boycott Boba Time 2017.
