DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS HERE !! THEY SELL YOU THE WRONG SIZE, RUSH YOU TO BUY, THE DRESSES ARE OVER-PRICED , THEY GIVE YOU A DRESS FULL OF WRINKLES, AND HAVE A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My daughter just picked up her dress which I paid for ($3,500) and I found out that these UNPROFESSIONAL people sold my daughter a size 4 when in reality she is a size 5/6. I went back to the store and tried to explain my point and they IGNORED ME. I told them that brides have no experience and they come to put their trust in these employees because they are supposed to be professional and know what they are doing. They take measurements every day and they are supposed to be trained correctly to know that a bride's dress is not supposed to be tight because you are expecting the bride to be able to eat, dance, and take pictures wearing the dress. IT IS COMMON SENSE !! How do they not consider this when taking measurements? The wedding is next week, and my intuition was telling me to ask my daughter if she had tried on her dress before she picked it up, I asked her and she said NO. So I asked her to try it on for me at home, and I found out that the zipper wasn't closing, I had to ask for help and we had to use the hands of 2 people to close it up with the risk of breaking it. My daughter hasn't gained any weight at all so it is not her fault. I told my daughter, You are supposed to eat, dance, and take pictures while wearing this dress, this dress is not supposed to be this tight, and the people who took measurements at the store are supposed to know this, they are supposed to be "PROFESSIONALS ". We are not buying a $100 dollar dress, we are buying a $3500 dress, of course we have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām extremely disappointed with the service my fiancĆ©e and I received at this store. She purchased her wedding dress here for $3,500 and paid additional for custom sleeves with extra floral detailing something she was genuinely excited about. Unfortunately, when she went in for the fitting, she was upset to see that only a few small pieces had been added. It was nowhere near what had been discussed or promised.
Knowing we were just days away from the wedding, I explained that we needed the dress completed by this weekend. That gave them three full days to add a few more details something I know wouldnāt take more than a couple of hours for a skilled seamstress. But instead of helping us, we were told they couldnāt accommodate the request because they were "working on other projects." The lack of urgency or care was extremely frustrating.
What bothers me most is how eager and agreeable they were before the sale, but the moment they had our money, the level of service and accountability dropped off entirely. That kind of behavior shows a serious lack of integrity and short-sightedness.
To top it all off, I spoke with the manager, āJoseā, which I donāt believe was the manager to express my concerns on my wifeās wedding dress which is frustrating her and instead of addressing them professionally, he hung up on me. Completely unacceptable behavior.
As a business owner myself I would never allow my employees to hang up the phone on a customer, I know how important it is to go the extra mile especially for something as important as a wedding. A couple of hours of work couldāve made a huge difference for us. Sadly, this store chose...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to Lāamour to find another dress since I fell out of love with my original dress. My consultant Jackie didnāt ask me any questions so it didnāt feel like I was taken serious and felt rushed. She pulled one dress from my inspo, but didnāt even give dresses she thought Iād like and just let me look for dresses myself while she stood there. She even reminded me that this was a 45 min appointment. Ive gone to many bridal shops and didnāt like my experience here. I did fall in love with two dresses but I didnāt want to make a quick decision. I asked her to write down the prices for me, and one was a dress I already inquired about on instagram which I was quoted $2,500, she quoted me $2,800. I called to ask for clarification, then she decided to take $200 off the dresses she originally quoted me. She also told me she couldnāt tell me the styles of the names of the dresses which was super shady already. I was serious about buying a dress, but these two things made me lose complete trust and although I wanted the dress, I didnāt want to give them my business. I did call many times to ask questions and one girl I spoke to, I think it was Milena, she was very sweet and helpful, maybe my experience wouldāve been different with her. After doing more research, I ended up figuring out which dress it was, Halle by Sottero and Midgley. I ended up getting it elsewhere for $800 cheaper elsewhere! I wouldāve easily bought the dress from them if I had a better experience, but I guess it all worked out for the better. So ladies, prior to shopping here, do your research, donāt get...
