Sora Gumi — Local services in Los Angeles

This shop is a gem. Amazing items from artists you won’t typically see outside of anime conventions. They had so many great items from games and anime, including clothes and accessories. Prices are retail and not bad, but definitely get ready to loosen your purse strings.

Why did I only give this place 2 stars? Despite how great the items in the store are, the terrible customer service made this whole experience pretty negative. The joy of getting a great find was overshadowed by the sour puss attitude of the one worker in the whole shop. I spent 30 minutes in the shop (and was its only customer at the time), and asked to see something that was on a shelf very far back behind the cashier. He lethargically turned, took one look and said, it’s too high, I can’t reach it. He didn’t even get up…. I mean how did that box get up there in the first place? It’s clearly on sale, what if I wanted to buy it? Next I asked him if the item in a closed box I was holding was the same as on display (cuz the box is not labeled). He looked inside and said “don’t know”. Doesn’t even bother to get up to check the stock or do anything. Finally I asked if there were more of a certain item and he said “don’t know, probably not”.

Honestly, I feel bad for any artist who sells their stuff here. Clearly the staff doesn’t care if they sell anything. I sincerely hope he’s not the only worker here and others will have a better experience in the future. I will likely check in with this shop when the...

i go to sora gumi everytime i go to los angeles— my go to stop for honkai star rail & miku merch. HOWEVER, the pricing is what somewhat disappoints me. i know they're selling for other artists, which is why it's a bit pricey but reasonable. but the thing is that they don't show their pricing.

the little acrylic stands of genshin & honkai star rail characters are $15 and NO WHERE did it say the pricing. keychains were $15 and didn't show pricing as well. they do show the pricing for the official merch, so that's good to know atleast. was absolutely shocked when 2 keychains and 1 small acrylic standee was already $40.

Legit proxy store. I spoke to an artist that made some of the stuff in the store and they said the store proxy sells their stuff. Most of their store is Genshin merch but also have some Honkai Star Rail, blindboxes, keyboards, and clothing from other stuff.

I think what I didn't like about the store was that it is such a small location and the walkways are quite narrow. They could definitely move some of their shelves around toward the back to make it easier to...
