DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Lower Paxton Township

If I could give a lower star review I would. Simply disastrous my visit. Where do I begin? Well I was searching for some basketball shoes and a team member came over but not at all attentive. He was trying to cover 5 people at the same time which was not at in the best interest of any of the customers. I was first and he took care of everybody else than me I was very dissatisfied of the overall professionalism and judgment. My understanding is you deal with one customer at a time no matter the wait so customers don't feel like their being ignored. Lastly, I then went to purchase the sneakers and they tried to give me a torn box on all sides (two supervisors lied and said they didn't have brand new boxes and also the employee which is a horrible example that his supervisors are setting and showing) it was ridiculous, outrageous, and unexceptable. I tore in verbally with the supervisor. It was like serving somebody's dinner at a restaurant undone and not cooked and saying take it or live it. Very uncaring and...

Purchased a treadmill at this location. Selected the delivery and installation option. Was explained to me they deliver on weekends and will call me the next day. 3 days go by and never hear anything about the treadmill delivery. Called in and said they will expedite the process so ill get a call today. Still no call so I called back in and Manager told me everything I was told by the sales associate was incorrect and that the company that delivers does not work on weekend. (Wondering who trains the associates because it sounds to me, they were not trained on this so not their fault). Now explained to me it will be a few weeks and they have no idea when. At this point I am frustrated and would like to return the item that is in their store. To do so I have to come into the location so they can return the item that was there.

Honestly would still went through with it but the manager just blamed it on the sales associate. Hate the whole finger...

This is the worst store for customer service I have ever visited. On a Monday in the peak of Christmas shopping I stopped at the store to look for binoculars which the website had listed as in stock for 1 hour pick up. I wanted to look at them before purchasing. There was absolutely no one on the floor to ask. I finally went to the checkout counter where they were very busy and ask for assistance. Others did the same. They stated that there would be someone over soon. 15 minutes later, no one. I finally pulled the item up on the their website and went to the checkout counter (AGAIN!). They called back on their radios and replied they had NONE in the store. Either they have a piss poor website of inventory or they just didn't want to deal in customer support. Never again will I step foot inside a Dicks...
