Lions' 24 Barbershop — Local services in Madison Heights

The sign says walk ins welcome. So I walked in. The 2 Barbers were cutting hair and speaking to another guy that seemed to be just hanging out. There was another guy sitting and watching the younger guy getting a haircut. Long story short, they were very friendly to each other speaking in Arabic and having some laughs. When I walked in, they all just looked at me. Nobody spoke a word. So I said hello. Still no response, just staring at me, so I sat down thinking maybe they would say, welcome, it'll be a few minutes, or even ask if I was there for a haircut. I sat there 10 minutes, and the one barber finished up his customer and welcomed the next guy coming in. Still no acknowledgement. Felt very awkward and extremely uncomfortable. So I stood up and walked out. Still not a single word spoken to me. So my review is. This place was terrible, 0 customer service, no greetings, no prices listed and even the tvs were in Arabic. So im guessing unless you "fit in"...

I recently stopped by Lions’ 24 Barbershop for the first time, and it was a great experience from start to finish. I called ahead just to get a feel for how busy they were, and they were super polite and helpful on the phone. When I arrived, I was welcomed right away, offered refreshments, and made to feel totally at ease.

The wait time was short, the vibe inside was everything you'd expect from a solid barbershop...laid-back, friendly, and full of good energy. Sean was my barber, and he absolutely delivered - did an excellent job on my cut and really paid attention to detail.

If you're looking for a new spot with a real barbershop atmosphere where you don’t have to be outgoing just to feel comfortable, this place is definitely worth...

Ive been going to the same place for years but they close earlier then when I get off work most times. I googled open barber shops and found "Lions 24" and I am so grateful that i did! The place is very clean and welcoming! I had no clue as to what to tell Sean besides help me... I've been wanting to give up on my beard because I haven't been able to get it the way I envisioned it. Instead of cutting it all off he cleaned it up and it's the best it's ever looked! Also saved me from cutting all my hair off like I usually do and I couldn't be happier. Thanks guys, Sean and Amer are stand up honest dudes and I would recommend anyone and everyone to check them out...you won't want to go anywhere...
