Balsam Hill Studio - Souvenir Shop — Local services in Maui

Wonderful little shop with the best customer service! My wife, son, and I were on Maui recently and walked up from the Hyatt Regency to Whaler's Village (lots of great shops and some good eats). We stopped in at Balsam Hill as a tourist would, and decided we'd take them up on their offer to mail our gifts to ourselves back in Maryland so that we don't have to navigate the travel process with our newly purchased ornaments. We decided on three ornaments to commemorate a family trip to Maui, and when we returned home, we received our purchases, however one of the ornaments did not survive the journey. I called the number listed here in Google Maps, but I didn't get an answer. Moments later, my phone rang, and it was a call-back from Melissa - with the most wonderful customer service ever!! We had a nice chat, she remembered my wife and son and I (Melissa recalled specifics), and she promised to send a replacement immediately. Only a few days later we received the replacement ornament, unbroken, and with a lovely card wishing us well.

Bravo Melissa, you've redefined excellence in customer service, and we'll treasure those ornaments as we remember our trip to Maui for years to come. With Aloha, Evan Amanda...

I’m on vacation in Maui amd I was surprised to see a Balsam Hill store. I thought that it was going to be a store showing you Christmas trees wreaths ect. etc. Turns out that the store only carries Christmas tree ornaments. Thats fine, I was not aware there were Balsam Hill stores like that.

I was quite disturbed by the woman that waited on me as she was very blunt and abrasive when helping me. It was as if I had no reason being there and she really did not have any time to be a sales person. She she was a middle aged woman with an accent. She showed absolutely no interest in speaking to me or showing me anything in that store. I can honestly say I was extremely offended. My wife noticed it as well. We walked out and both agreed that I should write a review. If Balsam Hill of Maui has people like this representing their company, I would really look hard as she is not doing the company justice. I love your products and your company and I look forward to doing business, but I will not do business in Balsam Hill...

I was in Maui my first time when I stopped in to look at Christmas ornaments. Melissa helped me so much, deciding on which ones to get . Then she suggested that they could send my ornaments home so I didn’t have to worry about getting them back to Ohio ! I know it was the best experience I ever had in a Christmas ornament store .
