I stayed in a 2 bedroom condo here for a week which I booked through VRBO and was pleasantly surprised by Maui Vista. It offered a super short walk to Charlie Young Beach, an elevator, tennis courts, and a very small pool. Parking was always very accessible and the front office offered everything you could need. It’s very well run and usually very quiet. It’s an amazing place to stay if you have a big family and want to avoid being cramped in an overpriced hotel room. It’s also centrally located in a good area and there are some good restaurants nearby. With that said, the condos are really outdated no matter how many repairs they do on them, the pool is tiny, and during my stay I noticed homeless people going through the garbage bins on the fist level. While this did not bother me because I was on the fourth floor, this may be an issue for people staying on the first floor. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a fun family...

This was our first experience with a VRBO. We stayed in a second floor condo that had been nicely remodeled. The condo had portable air conditioners in the bedroom and living room, which made it pleasant to be inside, we previously stayed at a condo in Kauai without any ac and it was hard to sleep. The grounds are nicely kept with 3 different pools and built in gas BBQ`s. I would have liked a hot tub. There is on site security at night and quiet hours are strictly enforced. I was reprimanded by a guard because my rental car horn beeped when I unlocked the car, oh well. The condos are centrally located in Kihei. There is a nice beach right across the road and another within a 5 minute walk. Surfboard and SUP lessons and rentals are close by too. There are several good places to eat within a 5-10 minute walk.
